jalupen wrote: that's not the problem ghost I get different times/results depending on the game so finding it impossible to find my best. did you see the time that 2yo ran at ascot sub 57 with a penalty Now that could be a major problem , just read what u wrote. This could be Big trouble for the league. This is mine.

Re: My Best Ck Times
I always use the same options. I set it up for what works for me. I watch my trials the same every time - hit left click to skip the field screen that scrolls by and then hit escape. The race starts and runs for a few seconds and then you see the result. I do it the same way every time so it is uniform results. I keep my best times and horses on record so I know what to aim for. Consistency in placing with my faster horses is what I value most.

Re: My Best Ck Times
Some very good investigating there Jalupen. I'm shocked, I didn't know the ck was this bad. Hmm so I take it the smaller the window the faster the time which would mean full screen is the slowest?? Paul, this really needs Marks attention. Also Paul I hope you do much better than me in the league if and when it starts!! Happy to see you do well

Re: My Best Ck Times
The league is still a while away. The game has to come out of beta first, and then there needs to be at least two months after this before it can start.
In addition to this the changes Mark is planning for the league will require code changes in the online league site. I'm going to start rebuilding the site this week to a) get rid of the wordpress stuff and b) make it faster. I will keep the legacy data for the last 2 seasons ( i don't have the data for the seasons before this though). Hopefully will get it done in a week or two.

Re: My Best Ck Times
I Think the best thing to find your best is set same conditions for every trial and dont go mad on times for example set every trial in windowed mode without using the filters and without skipping if you do this for every trial you will find your most consistent if you change your conditions of running trials every time results will be all over the place.
The way i am trialing i always find my best i never go with my quickest just the most consistant point scorer

I'm kind of dropping my flat team because I'm spending my time/having fun breeding jump horses, in the last month I've only spent 4 days on my flat team and that wont cut the mustard so I'm scaling back my team to just having some 2yo's and perhaps a few dirt horses. I'm having fun breeding jump horses but it's takes a lot of time to doing it.

Re: My Best Ck Times
That's good to know, I would hate for there to be no more improvements. In The last SO we were still improving after the last season.
