Also if you're not obsessed with winning the big G1's then you don't have to go down the Ttf route.

I play the game for fun, league second but still won over 10 races on both jumps and flat last season. I have even won a G1 juvenile hurdle and a G1 flat handicap

Steve won multiple races last time just using gamebreds, there are different ways of playing

However, if you want to be competitive in the big races then the Ttf route is a must.

Couldn't agree more the league last season was brilliant any horse of any level had races there for them
it was a superb schedule and enjoyable for trainers of every level very proud i came up with the G1 Handicaps
a Few Seasons back which gives everyone something to aim for but unfortunately you always
get some trainers that just give up after a week when the realize there horses are not monsters
we have all been through that realization but there is so much more out there now compared to when i started in so3
so much fun dam well miss it too ha ha

I agree the schedule last season was perfect.

The only other I would change is to make it mandatory for horses run say 3 times before the big handicaps, including the national over jumps. This may have actually come in last season, I can't seem to remember.

Although I rather go it alone route i don't mind if the option came up to buy John Or Jamie's Jumpers or Paul,Matt's and steve's Cast offs i would buy incase i get one like follis i'm play for fun i don't just breed actually i spend most of the time messing around with the Editor and making Race Schedules i'm glad to know that trainers thought the schedule last season was good i spent hours on that and including the all weather Championship proved a success and the extra week was needed.

I don't know if everyone read's this forum so perhaps if someone put a sticky in the main forum describing some of the plans perhaps more people would read it and we would get a better feel for what people want.

Gray did a great job with the schedule, something for everyone.

When I played the first league season last year I only bred about 10 days before it started and didn't win any races until the transfer window then I only won 3 races all season and I was wondering if I wasn't such a tortoise( love watching everyone out in front so I can follow and observer ) that perhaps I would have gave up. People who are Hares will give up more easily if they are not out in front or can keep up. They are the one's who we need to keep engaged so they have a chance and are more likely to keep playing if they have a chance with 1 or 2 good horses.

Really need to get Marks Thoughts on this
also i notice Leon has not been on here since September
and TBH without him there will be no league he has become that important.
The Job he has done on TOM is unreal and i believe alot of work is need to incorporate SO6
Peoples lifes change and maybe he does not have the time to do it but hopefully he will,
but all needs to be discussed

i have stickyied this thread

I wondered the same thing About Leon, I know other people are closer to him so perhaps other people will know the answer. It's looks very complicated with the new system because u cant download individual horses like the last game, perhaps it's fall's into it's to hard category.

Thanks Paul

I dont think Leon will be around.

The flat schedule needs a complete overhaul.

So what can we do to help make the league a reality?
