Re: Weekly Reaction
uhhhh Mr Rann what in the world have you unleashed on us??? https://youtu.be/knLdFLqeJFM?t=1m53sPerhaps the greatest debut of a horse I have ever seen. I'm trying to figure out why it has the "Li" on the end of its name. At some point it was a duplicate in a game? Why didn't the original Child's Play get exported?

Re: Weekly Reaction
Congrats to Darren Thompson in winning the Prince of Wales. I was lucky to call two cracking finishes today - the other was the Coventry Stakes.

Re: Weekly Reaction
Winners in both codes today
Master Soprano my 2YO sprinters are a very poor bunch but she shines through she has now won 2 from 4 starts after her glorious win in the Queen Mary G2 maybe races like the Cheveley Park or Prix Morney next she has to step into G1 company now. Great to have found a Royal Ascot winner on day one thats the monkey off the back.
Miss Scotland Off the mark at the 5th attempt winning the Betfred Handicap Hurdle she was down to a winnable mark not sure where next hopefully there is another win in the tank.
Me Andre 3 wins from 4 starts over hurdles and fences starting to look like a superstar now a 2 time Garde 2 winner after winning the Winter Novices' Hurdle G2.
Promotion My Grand National No1 his 3rd and final run before Aintree and he will go there a race winner after smartly winning the Scottish Borders National 0 - 130 handicap more than a little surprised by his performance. 20 of my original 30 national hunt team have now won races very proud of that.
Have to say the start of the week for me is tinged with sadness we all have different options on the future of the league and naturally disagree from time to time but for it to get to the point where someone throws the towel in over it after the mammoth effort to put together a team is beyond me so disappointed Jim has taken this stance he is a great guy and really hope he reconsiders life really is too short to take anything the game or league throws at you to heart anyway I hope you will come back Jim and hope you are ok.
Congratulations to all the winners and placers great comms lads Thanks to all the team involved.

Re: Weekly Reaction
sirrius I accidently imported the horse back into the game it was already in which is why it has that li on it and as for it being the next frankel I think it was more like a racekit problem than the second coming personally don't think he'll win another race all season though was better than my other milers who were really poor hope this clears it up for you
tbf I couldn't believe what I was watching

Re: Weekly Reaction
One winner on the flat with ‘zoom to the moon’ living up to his rating, everything else was largely disappointing.
But a great return from my NH team with two G1’s. ‘Hip to be Square’ who I had largely written off and ‘The Perfect Match’ who has delivered on early promise. Perhaps the best pick of the three was ‘Eights the Ground’ soldiering on through top weight to take the Beecher chase. Had not given him much of a chance, impressive win that creates more stable confusion.

Re: Weekly Reaction
ok 2 winners both G1s and 3 seconds G1 & G3 my sprinter two steps goes to 3 out of 4 only loss coming when idiot trainer ran her over 6f and the other was a first time out childs play li who went to the front and stayed there winning by 41/2l in a G1! now I know this is Lazarus proportions but I honestly think this was down to the racekit as opposed to this fellow having good Friday named after him I for 1 will be very interested in his next race to see if he can repeat as If he does you can be assured he will be very busy leading up next seasons army of clones (I kind of feel like the evil empire in star wars) think ill call a horse anadin skywalker see what I did there
anyway massive congrats to holger and Darren for your G1 wins (both beating my horses into 2nd) may you both get many more glad the hard work has paid off
congrats all runners

Re: Weekly Reaction
Well its always good to win a race you plotted for weeks Greys My Colour was aimed at the Windsor Stakes I knew it was a 5f Specialist and I didn't run it last week knowing the current Mark would be useful for the race and putting my Second String who needs 6f off a higher rating also meant it didn't carry to much weight but it would of won anyway but its good when a plan works its also can be good when it doesn't Mr Ed was my Gold Cup Horse but I saw Johns two Monsters and diverted him to the Ascot Stakes instead and he won well 2 Ascot Winners on Day 1 for me on the Flat means it was a good day.

Re: Weekly Reaction
I had my first winner for my Hilltop stables new home, Kings Ghost must be my first 3yo not to have a full potential bar and I hope she goes on to be good enough to come back for her 4yo season. I was delighted to see Ring Minella win the tingle creek, always nice to win over 2 miles as my 2m hurdlers are very poor.

Re: Weekly Reaction
Another Royal Ascot Winner and a great day over the sticks
Picasso Put in a no show in the Derby but got good compensation today smartly winning King Edward VII Stakes Group 2 delighted as he was on the shortlist for the chop hopefully more to come.
Assemble The Forces did incredibly well to carry top weight in the Moores Millions Stayers Leg 8 His second win of the season be tough from here on in for him but its job done.
Goldielocks Flew home by over 3 lengths in the Peterborough Chase Grade 2 to win her second race of the season. The Ryanair still the plan for her.
Hot Port Off the mark at last at the 6th attempt in the Ryman Novices' Chase comes into contention for the RSA now. Hot Port becomes my 21st individual race winning horse this season in the NHC.
Prime Suspect 5 starts 3 wins 2 places what a consistant horse she is and now a Grade 2 winner to add to her listed wins she came home strong in the Christmas Hurdle Grade 2. Still on course for the World Hurdle.
The jumps team seem to be really cooking but that Grade One still alludes me. Half Term report coming tomorrow.
Well done John on your 3rd Gold Cup in a row with superstar Coigach an amazing Achievement I tip my hat to you and salute you.
Your strike rate on the flat is ridiculous almost at 50% wins from runs thats an incredible achievement in a league of your own mate.
69 starts 44 wins or places 55/69 in the money only 14 runs out of the money you really do set the standard sir.
Congratulations to all the winners and placers Huge thanks to the team especially Gray thanks to the Commentators who make the whole experience so brilliant with their comms and preview shows.

Re: Weekly Reaction
Actually makes a mockery of the dcc really if he entered the same volume of races as everyone else Blank on the flat again and considering just retiring the team, after another day of almost nearly and not quite good enough. And just the single win over the sticks.

Re: Weekly Reaction
Thanks boys, I was nervously waiting for that race all day and was back and forth from 8 checking grays utube I was shouting for her to get in front of my other horse at the start, she wasn't going to out pace him, around the 3 pole I thought they both were in trouble. Bringing these horses back gives u more pleasure when they come back and run well. James u has a incredible horse in Ashton that's comes back many seasons and runs well, u don't see many horses start on the flat and get better with age over jumps. Paul I'm shocked that my flat horses are still running well, I have a lot less time to play these days and i'm going to enjoy it before SO7 comes out because i'll be well down the pecking order but i'll enjoy plotting my h'capers . I'm shocked at my strike rate because I normally do best with my 5 and 6 furlong 2'yos but they have really struggled this season. I tried to get some new 1.4 horses in this window but I'm struggling with them, i'm just breeding my best to my best these days, no fancy breeding that could take a lot of time. My motto has been less time smarter breeding. When I first breed Coigach I knew she was special in game even as a 3yo because she used to put about 25L into the game horses and even the horses I breed she would beat by 5L, I'm glad I got to enjoy her with so many seasons in the league. She has now passed Ghostzapper triple crown win and trully becomes the best horse I ever breed
