So if I leave a 4yo as open will it still be able to run in 4yo only races like the Triumph and Fred Winter ?

Re geldings, my 3yo gelding could not enter his colt race this week, I had time to delete him and rerun the game year to export him as a colt, but I have three more geldings in my flat team at 5yo. Are there likely to be issues in stallion races as there seems to be in colts only?
