Re: THE 4th SEASONAL CHELTENHAM €20 CHARITY COMPETITION
Thanks to all those who entered & after a cracking first day and no fewer than 7 different trainers collecting a win, those who picked both Leon and Paul O'Neill got some fine points for the 1st day and we have Alex Cherrie at the top of the pile leading PaulPot by 60 points going into today's races. So far a total of 16 DNF's and the longest winning margin on day one was Tam King's, White Night winning the Arkle by 4L And the Festival Championship looks like this after Day 1

Re: THE 4th SEASONAL CHELTENHAM €20 CHARITY COMPETITION
Its all getting close with the remaining 8 races later today, still at the top is Alex Cherrie, but he is joined by Vinny Gerrard and with Westy & Jimma just a further 25 points behind still all to play for. With another 16 DNF's that brings the total to 32 and Tam Kings 4L win on the 1st day in the Arkle is still the largest winning margin going into day 3 Leon collected 3 wins on day 2 and cements his Champion Festival trainer lead, and joining the board are Vinny G And ALex C who collected wins yesterday. If you spot any mistakes, let me know, the final board will be late tomorrow as I would have "gone fishing" and will not update till I get back.....

Re: THE 4th SEASONAL CHELTENHAM €20 CHARITY COMPETITION
Well due to some unforeseen circumstances I have not "Gone Fishing" Anyhow back to the comp & after day 3 we have a tie at the top between Gray & Alex who both scored a total of 845 courtesy of the 100 point bonus for correctly guessing the largest winning margin of 4L with Kev also collecting the bonus to place 3rd......unlucky for Jimma33 who had it in the bag before the bonus points were added No one got the total DNF's (43) although Leon was just shy with his guess of 44. So the tie break will be the nearest to the DNF's Gray's Guess of 26 is 17 less than the total and Alex Guessed 57 and is only 14 out, so the winner is..... ALEX CHERRIE, well done unlucky Gray Thanks for all taking part As to the winning Festival Trainer, it goes with out saying that almost a 3rd of the races where won by Leon with a total of 9, more than twice as many as his nearest rival David R with 4, well done Leon. ALEX LET ME KNOW WHERE YOU WOULD LIKE THE DONATION TO GO.....

OK Panic over..... Alex wins both Gray and Alex did not have James Shea in their teams who had 10 points too many due to the DH in the last....
