Great info Scatters, and thanks for the total insight into your tactics/theories etc.
Nothing patronising, just gives us all something to aim for and stops us throwing a horse which isn't prob G1 class into one and buggering their handicaps for this "8 runs max" season
Nice work and Thanks...

So, I've done the same track & conditions and here are the results:
5f - 57.93
6f - 1.11.30
7f - 1.24.68
1m - 1.40.99
1m1 - 1.54.62
1m2 - 2.9.32
1m3 - 2.22.39
1m4 - 2.35.95
All the rest I don't have horses for, so be pointless saying times.

Jimmy if you have trialled using exactly the same track, conditions etc as scatters then over 5f and 1m4f you have some serious beasts in your stable, time will tell.
Look forward to meeting them at the track!!

I'm focusing more on the NH league, so my top flat horses will be in my NH game but I'll keep a few good ones for the flat.

Jimmy, I think you should focus upon the flat if they're your times!!! Tell me first if your doing the flat before anyone else and we'll smash up the trainer championship odds

I agree if your running 55 secs at 5f you have a serious serious animal there

Hopefully, my best 6 furlong horse is going jumping though. Champion Hurdler hopefully.

Isn't the whole point of the league supposed to be to see who has the best and quicker horses and not time ourselves against each other as it possibly shows the better stables?? Lol, I've always trialled at Ascot and probably are way off these times!! I don't want to know it will spoil the fun of the league for me!! Come on were not Yank's obsessed with our times and fractions!!
Don't take this post too seriously it is meant to be a light hearted dig! Done some trialling all day and only got through my 2yo and 3yo, yet I only have about 4 or 5 which really destroy last years bunch, expecting strong 2yo's as I had some strong ones last year group placing who have been put in their place by one or two of my new crop. No stayers at all, where I normally have my Group 1 successes so could be a bad season... Still yet to trial NHC horses yet so there could be a good one in there, just looking forward to the league to start!

I'll keep my times under my hat.
I'll just say that i'm not quite with scatters times.....but I'm not far off.
I must go close in the derby/oaks, mismatch will fly down the rowley mile on good, MOVE OVER looks like my main 6f hope at present, HELP ME NOW will be competetive over 5f and after these I'll get the BIG GUNS out.

Nick, I think we've been driven to racing via times. It's been a long time coming the season of the league

Maybe times trails on the flat means something i dont know!!!
But over the jumps it stands for nothing in the league imo.
Consistency is key for me.
