If enough new trainers are interested I will add what I learnt last season about choosing your stable and placement of horses.
Always interested mate.
yes me and keith learnt some harsh lessons last year
my team will be built like this 30 places2yo's (9)5f....... x2...... 1 male 1 female
6f....... x2 ......1 male 1 female
7f....... x2...... 1 male 1 female
1m...... x2 ......1 male 1 female
1m2......x1.......... just my best
3yo up (21)5f.........x3......2 best male 1 best female (1)of them a 3yo)
6f.........x3......2 best male 1 best female (1)of them a 3yo)
7f..........x1......my best
1m..........x3.....2 best 3yo colt/filly 1 best older horse
1m1........x1......my best
1m2........x2.....1 best male 1 best female (1)of them a 3yo)
1m4........x3.....2 best 3yo colt/filly 1 best older horse
1m6........x2.....1 best male 1 best female (1)of them a 3yo)
2m.........x2.....1 best male 1 best female
2m4.........x1.......my best
bearing in mind most of mine are very versitile at different distances eg my 1mile horses get 7 & 1m1 well so only 1x 7f horses
1) will start all mine in maidens
2) will try and get them all a run in handicaps 2nd run ( if rating not too high after maiden)
3) after 1 or 2 runs at handicap level my best will then contest listed g3 g2 g1 as long as they show the potential to do so
4) the ones that are not good enough will contest handicaps for the season and try and place them well they wont race a group level
because that will ruin there rating and spoil there chance of winning at handicap level
hope it helps lads good luck see you there
