3 Winners today 2 on the flat 1 over the sticks

Josh your mare is my favorite horse in the league love her more than my
own she is made of Iron her performance in the Irish Oaks was scintillating
LONG LIVE QUEEN Belladona She is the bravest horse I have ever seen i
n the league you should be so flippin proud of her.

Nick many many congratulations on your Group 1 winner and please please
dont ever apologize for showing emotion in your comms I personally loved it and could
hear the joy in your voice when Swift Rumble won fantastic moment mate.

now onto my reviews

Phantom
Well what can I say about this fella looked out with the washing in the 2 derbies and
the Belmont but has the turn of foot I have never seen before in a 12 furlong horse.
He has now won 4 feature races and 3 of them classics totally blown away by him.
King George next.

Vogart
Leger horse who won smartly on debut had no option but to run him in 1m4 group
races after that as there was nothing else for him Came in here with a workable mark
and I doubt he will be running in a handicap again. St Leger is still the main Target.

Seal Team
Ran ok all season but honestly thought he was incapable of winning a race in the
league so I'm delighted with that as the 2m4/2m5 division is by far my weakest division.
I doubt he will win again but glad he bagged one.

Huge thanks to the team.
well done to the winners and placers.
thanks to the comms team brilliant as always.
nice to see the new and newish trainers continue to flourish.

Is not often my flat tally for the week is higher than my jump tally. Single winner on the NH but an impressive display from ‘When the Demon Comes’ to take a G2. But still a disappointing week. The Haton was a great race, am pleased for you Paul even if you did beat me into my beloved sodding second, I ran that race too.

The flat is all about ‘Belladona’ and her Oaks double very happy with my decision to bring her in at 3yo and she will be back next year no matter what happens at this stage. Did not see her winning once she had given up the lead and by a couple of lengths.

Winning the Newmarket with a horse I had largely written off just added a cherry to my day on the flat.

And thanks Paul, the tragedy about Belladona is she never bred anything of note, every paring up until about 19 when she died was a bust. She is just one of those freaks that the game throws up every now and again, her lineage is not even all that good either and the line on both sides is now totally expired with nothing of her like since.

Unendliche Geschichte was the same. All duds until 18 but then luckily 3 goods ones in a row at 19, 20 and 21, including Dancing Goddess and Rough Weather

Im lucky in that the best mare I have on the flat Tina Itch has given me my colt conquest ghostride who will be massive going forward :D :D but the rest has been very average up to this point but I've only done a little breeding for next season. My jump mares seem to be much better , my hurdler Final Frontier has breed 2 in the league in Pride of Oak and Baile West and both are winners but its been a bit of a struggle with Claresown but she breed lovely present who is in the league but the one that has really struggled who could be my best horse this year is Shall Reputation . She has bred nothing so far but she does have a bit of a strange breeding ( not a blue blood) and perhaps like Josh horse shes a freak.

I have Bella until she is 5 so I am not unduly concerned she remains my best 1.4m at 4 and never trialled her at 5.

Well my first win! What can l say apart from over the moon....it might only have been a hcap race but it carried a decent weight and just stretched his nose out. Well chuffed and hopefully shows new trainers and people thinking of buying the game this horse is only a 3rd gen and was bought at 2yo sale beginning of season in season 9 of my flat only game! Luckily he is 9 now and had basically every mare in my barn bred so will be a good sign for next seasons league

Watching the races was great, Bellabona is just amazing! I think she could maybe get 1m6f the way she finished that race off ? You would know best, and then to see the double done by Phantom ! That turn of foot put the race to bed in a matter of strides and will be hard to beat this season now.
Hemz dropped a 2yo in and boy the way that finished could be a potential monster at 1mile!
Leon well what more to say than superb! Pushing everyone including Josh to pull out all the stops, nice to watch them two from week to week and look forward to watching the placement of there horsss to try and get the championship under their belt, Vinny’s horses looking like they are just coming to hand now and can see an almighty battle on the flat next year with some new up and coming trainers getting their hands on some wins, this hidden bars was what this league needed and totally throws everyone new or old into the mix at every level. The breeding side of this game just amazes me and is so in depth really makes you want to find and breed champions

Going forward my stable is lacking depth but as said I only managed 14 seasons before the upload in total so it’s not bad and the foundations are hopefully set to be able to do a stable tour which might have a group winner in it.

Lastly the commentary by nick.....hahahahaha absolutely loved it, it was well deserved and your emotion just shows what this league can bring! Roll on next season

Good point about potential new league players. It doesn't take much game play to at least get some handicap type league stock. Here's the lineage for my three winners this week. From two games both ten seasons long...

Not a bad problem to have though she is a beast Josh does she run in the King George mate
I actually thought the stamina test of the Curragh might catch her out and errrrr no it didint
So 12 furlongs around Ascot would be no problem be great to see 2 multiple classic winners
clash P.S Not expecting Phantom to win again this season he really is an Epsom specialist and
was amazed he won at Belmont & The Curragh.

She is already entered along with the cream of the 1.4m division, that should be a cracking race. She has a chance but the older horses will present a stern test as will your colt.

And she does stay to 1.6m just as she is also effective at 1.2m but she is less accomplished at both distances, will only run them when there is nothing suitable at 1.4m

Firstly Congratulations to Martin on your win with Aljafliyah
at your home track Warwick well done mate that was a great win.

1 Winner for me today and it Came over the sticks

Claude Monet
2nd start since he came in as a sub great to see him win it was a powerful
performance  mixed feelings here 1 he is the first of my subs to win
2 he is meant to be my grand national horse after that I doubt he has any
chance of staying the national distance so I think it will be a change of plans.

Huge thanks to the team
Great comms as always
well done to the winners and placers

Nice opening day of Glorious Goodwood. Considering the flat is an after thought for me it's nice to mix it with the big boys. Reminds me of the old days

Flat Team

Right Beside You (1st) - If you go back to his previous form debut 3rd in the Queen Anne (G1) he didn't get his head in front early enough in that race. 4th in a 7f (G3) little to short imo. Honestly it wasn't a major surprise to me at all he was going to run a huge race today if he got to the front early. It was a very classy run fronting display against the best the mile division as to offer. He's one to have fun with for the remaining weeks of the season.

Pivotal Heffron (1st) - After almost 8 weeks he finally delivers a fine run and showed me what he's been doing at home. Really struggled of late with 2yo improvements but I'm starting to see some real classy ones coming through of late.

Over Time (2nd) - Very promising run this week against a track which favors front runners. I believe he could win a G1 before the season is over. 7F was probably on the short side. Another one i'm going to have fun with over the coming weeks.

NH Team

Nothing much to shout about here. Some nice placed efforts that about it. It's the Leon van Rensburg show.

He's on another level with his jumpers. Some truly awesome displays of jumping and total grit for them to fight till the end of each race. He really as nailed his breeding operation so far. For a stable to be that competitive under both codes is remarkable in my opinion. He will be tough to beat next season as well. I only want the Gold Cup mate okay. Then i can happily retire for good.

Congrats to all winners and places. Some great races throughout.

Thanks to the team as always for making it happen each week.

Just the one winner for me today, but if it was the only winner of the week I'd still be happy;

Kaiping Slick - Amazing little horse, battled back after being headed 3 out, then 2 out to win it very well> Pleased he finally got his win after falling just short in both Derby's and at Royal Ascot. York looks a decent race for him next week now

Couple of low grade handicap wins on the flat, which mean absolutely nothing in the general scheme of things and one of them I would happily give back since it robbed John Seaford of his first win.

And on a day where I thought I had a good shout at some winners my jump team conspired to deliver 4 seconds and at least two 3rds, some bad jumping, bad rides, tired looking horses and general tales of woe, though likely as often as not just beaten by better. Title looks beyond the talent I have available this season.
