Re: Exhibition race 2. Cross Country Chase at Cheltenham. 3m Blue Fedora: flat bred Group 1 winner from 1m - 1m4f. Wins include BC Juvenile, Juddmonte Int. and Coronation Cup. Jumps well and conditions won't be a problem but distance might if the pace is strong. will not be far away if she stays.
Gambit: flat bred Group winner from 1m4f - 1m7f. Wins include Ribblesdale Stakes, Irish St Leger and Prix Royal Oak. Goes very well on good or firmer but is very ground dependent and will struggle on soft. would be my no 1 choice if ground suits. Fell once during trials but usually jumps well. |

1st - Belcore Juvenal - 7yo best trip 4m. Good jumper runs midfield, should be thereabouts. 2nd - Belcore Big - Also 7yo runs handy, a good jumper who just about gets the trip. Haven't played in a while but these two should give a good account of themselves. Or am I deluding myself  |

Cross Country Chase at Cheltenham. 3m Bred: 9 March - Jumps bred- mum + dad 4 milers Going: Faster the Better Distance: 3m4 - 4m Jumping: Fast but makes mistakes  Bred: 18 October - Jumps bred - mum+ dad 4 milers Going: Faster the Better Distance: 3m2 - 4m Jumping: Good some races - Bad some races - And other days she can be awful - Just found out that they are half sister's, Rosemoss is the better horse and she's decent but is not in the same class as my last league champ Lo Stregone. They both need good ground and if this was a league race I wouldn't run them on g/soft or worse. I think my stable is not anywhere close to my last league stable. |
