Congratulations

What did you have too do to make it work?

Does it work on both your desktop and laptop?

Flipped directx in game made no diff, reinstalled it which I am sure I have done before and unpacked the kit again in prog files deleting the older version and it seemed to work. Am honestly none the wrong wiser as to what I did or rather stoped doing wrong, was just messing about really with my desktop. Did not retry one the laptop as the desktop now seems ok from a shortcut to the kit.

I may set up the laptop at some point but the desktop has a far better graphics card, now need to get my head around obs, bandicam seems more user friendly at a quick pass.

Bandicam is more user friendly to start with but you have to buy the full version for use in the league. OBS has more options and is more complicated to setup, but once you have setup OBS it is easy to use as well.

When I was setting up OBS I went to the OBS forum and found a thread for my type of graphics card with instructions on how to set the card up.

I found this guide helpfull

Quick question on tracks, I seem to just have the stock range and assume this is linked to my game. How do I get the missing courses?

I found some of the extra courses in the MODS forum.

What ones are you looking for. I can email some of the ones I dounloaded to you if you can't find them in the MODS forum.

I have downloads for the All Weather track at Newcastle, an updated Leopardstown, and a whole bunch of others I found in Simpleminds Course Uploads im Mods Database

Gray is the expert in course mods, so if you can't find what you are after, perhaps Gray can help.

I think the 3 courses I had to down load for the league were

the all weather track at Newcastle

Leopardstown which Gray updated with more fences and Down Royal in Ireland.

You can search the mods database for the courses, or I have uploaded to my webpage where they can be downloaded. These are large downloads so they may take some time.

Newcastle - https://app.box.com/s/5r7ssityrec2zww0qg3uyu6n3tyy4ybz

Leopardstown - https://app.box.com/s/qehrqbxnkgh3wu6pynqyoy5o2k82nsty

Down Royal - https://app.box.com/s/qehrqbxnkgh3wu6pynqyoy5o2k82nsty

Before you add the new couses to c:\program files (x86)\starters orders 6\3D\courses folder, cut and paste the old versions of the courses to another folder so that if something goes wrong you still have the original files.

Once you have pasted the new folders to the courses folder, Down Royal and Leopardstown will work straight away, but the AW Newcastle requires you to make an amendment to another file to let SO6 know that Newcastle is now a dirt track.

Now go to the c:\program files (x86)\starters orders 6\data\1 folder and edit the _courses file. Add the entries in blue to the dirt section of the file.

The other course you may not have is Meydan, but I think that the course named Dubai in the game is in fact Meydan.

If the two courses are not the same, I have been unable to find a separate download for Meydan.

Hi Josh

Until I became a racerunner, I used to just run races for myself not worrying how the horses\races looked to the camera.

I found that using the buttons listed below helped the races to look better. You may use them already, but if not give them a try.

F1 - freezes the camera, especially good for NH races where the field is strung out and you want to watch the whole field jump a fence

F2 - returns the camera to the view before the freeze

F3 - holds the camera in place while the horses run away up the course

Enter - switches the camera from one side of the track to the other side of the track

Home - raises the camera higher

End - lowers the camera

Up & Down arrow keys to zoom in and out
