Re: Monsters!!!!
I know it can. From another thread of mine... Quote: I found a beast sire currently playing an Australian game. Like in my US game the best sires are to be found in another country. In the US game the best studs were always from Australia. In the Australian game the best studs are from the US. He's five crops in and the success of his progeny has catapulted his fee to over five million! He's depleting my bank account quickly. When money gets low I just cash a bet (I always win my bets } He's only hitting 50% winners from starters which is odd. The inset picture is of the best yearling I have ever seen in SO7. 90% potential. Quote: I came across the worst looking mare in a sale and because I have 100 million plus I decided to buy her just for the hell of it. She was 0 for 127 and upon arrival in my barn her potential was 10%. BUT she does have 100% acceleration which is highly sought after by me. 100% Start is desirable too. I paid the 7 million stud fee on the sire described in the above posts and bred this lowly mare to him. This is her first foal... I was quite surprised to see this. 85% potential for a yearling. Not too shabby. That yearling above (Soundwave now named Worst To First) is now a stakes winner. La Vei De Colori's offspring rule all the major races around the world. I bred an unknown stats horse to a horse who arguably is the worst horse ever potential and race record wise...and came up with an 85% potential yearling. That's a game changer.

Re: Monsters!!!!
Yeah Game studs the massive key. I have about 3 or 4 of these game stallions in my sprint breeding now. Each time that stallion took my trials on about 3 lengths or so. So I try to breed horses with every one of those stallions in their ines. I found another one last week too, he's took my sprinters apart, beats wuwei damsel who just won the Golden Shaheen is nowhere near him, can't wait to get them bred and the good thing is he has no in breeding to all my other lines really

Re: Monsters!!!!
One gambred sire really can change everything Muffraaj Sala has improved my 2 mile national hunt lines by at least 5 lengths he has even produce far superior 2m4 horses that trounce my current 2m4 lge team (Not hard they are awful) but this just shows that one horse can change everything.
this is his great grand daughter Artemis who has won the grand slam of bumper races she is yet to be trialed.
You do have to throw alot of mud at the wall and hope that something sticks but as many have said on here recently one horse can make a massive difference.

Re: Monsters!!!!
Only trialed the new bunch in bumpers but last weeks Bumper winner in the league (Tigermoth) is well beaten by my new breds all come for one new gamebred sire and only started playing the jumps game again on Saturday looking for subs and trying to strengthen future jumps teams so it shows in SO7 you can jump forward light years in a short space of time and of course a little luck.
Looking forward to seeing how the 2 mile hurdle and chase trials go next

Re: Monsters!!!!
Lots to like on paper.
Seems increasingly likely I shall not be making any team additions cannot see myself having the time in the next few weeks.

Re: Monsters!!!!
End of an epic career time for him to enter the breeding shed going to have to find some gamebred 2m4 horses for him to cover as in the CK he needs about 4 miles
4 Cheltenham Gold Cup +£6,000,000 in career earnings
Hoping i can get some of his offspring into the league but no guarantees

Re: Monsters!!!!
Very nice Paul.
Is there a really good combined game or a jumps only schedule.
Which one are you using? Really keen on starting a Irish league game.

Re: Monsters!!!!
UK Jumps only Hemz I can only do one thing at a time I cant imagine breeding and trialing a bunch of horses at different distances in different codes sounds like too much hard work to me

I've made a right mess of my flat breeding by not run enough trials. I've had a good start to the flat season but I think i've fluked it because i've ended with a game full of awful horses. Lol. I think Lady Luck has been on my side. Even though i've not done many trials over jumps my game is lovely and neat and tidy for when I start breeding for next season.
