   |   Re: Weekly ReactionWell for my stables standard - Monday was a good day for me. On the hunt. Tonic Du finished 5th for the 3rd time in a row - I'm chuffed with that On the flat I had a nice day. Noverre Koo 4th, Downe Japan 4th and Bussa Vittachi 5th. Achiever Dreams gave me my best result ever on the flat by running a close up 4th in a G3 Hcp. I thought I had an outside chance at the weights which was helped with barrier 3 and a trouble free run through out. Some exciting finishes and a good even spread of trainers taking home the spoils.

   |   Re: Weekly ReactionPretty decent day for me, my Flat team mixed it up a bit with a bundle coming 4th and 5th. Access Denied 2nd in a G3 a notable highlight. The Jumps was a more mixed affair, my graded entries failed on every level, but I snagged three wins elsewhere on the card: Eye of the Storm - had all but given up on this horse that consistently trailed well, finally nicked a handicap after running close on multiple occasions previously. Cap Gemini - Really liked his prospects from the race card, even weight and he was top rated, with all the monster 4yo's going into the G1 later this week. Ran well on the day. The Tortoise - **** News Flash **** the tortoise missing from Sutherland's yard, someone seems to have nipped in and stolen the slow hurdling nag and replaced it with a long staying front runner. Not sure what happened here, she is not a front runner and I can only assume took it on as the field was absent one, being one of those odd horses with more crusing burst than speed it suited her to lead and grind out a win against a very decent field. Now has wins over both fences and hurdles. And she bred a monster for next year also shocked. Ps whomever stole the real tortoise feel free to keep her. Translucent ran 3rd in the last race of the day, also not a bad effort. Josh

   |   Re: Weekly ReactionCredenhill gave our stable their 7th win over both codes this season. Unlikely to reach the magical 10 figure before the end of the season though.
It's been a poor year, even worse than expected but I didn't get much of a team together to be honest. Hopefully next year I can push towards having some decent handicappers again

   |   Re: Weekly ReactionHope you had a good break Paul, shame about the "Mack" falling and then I thought at last a G1 but "Frank" still couldn't win, shame as now no 2m Chase of any note next week. Back to this week, 1 winner so far with "Compton Masked" again a horse from season 1, 3 out of my 4 winners on the flat so far have been horses from early S06, maybe I should go backwards. Hopefully "Simple Dreaming" wins the MD Champ tonight, winner over C&D to qualify so fingers crossed & pick up the 8th win across codes for the season, aiming for that 10 Disappointed with several runners in handicaps in the NH as thought I had a few well in, but not to be. Thanks to all who take part, run races, commentate etc etc.

   |   Re: Weekly ReactionGood day for me with three winners:
Sweet Temptation - timmed it too perfection under favourable weight to sneak up for the William Hill 1m Championship. Very happy with that, was my best hope on the flat this week.

Dominion of Saints - finally comes good after his maiden win all the way back in week one, impressively carrying top weight round to win this g2 handicap, nearly got run down on the line. Pleased to see him back in the winners enclosure.

Kiss my Tail - another who won off top weight but in less celebrated fashion in a maiden handicap, still nice to see her get off the mark.

Also worth noting the ghost running 2nd in the future novice and national sensation running 3rd in the Scottish national.

One low grade winner yesterday with Barking and disappointment with Chess in the punchestown champion hurdle being run down for 3rd.

 Josh

   |   Re: Weekly ReactionWOW what a day at the Breeders Cup this is by far the best day in my career 4 G1 winners in one day

 Kentucky Lightening
Still a Maiden going into this has been so consistant all season but never got
in front until today winning the Breeders Cup Turf Sprint 18 of my 25 horses
to represent the flat team have now won races delight this fella got a big one.

 Noble Endevour
Such a classy horse he has now won 5 out of 6 and the last 5 on the bounce
and he now has a G1 to his name not bad for a 1m2 plodder jockey gave him a
greatly timed ride to win the Breeders Cup Juvenile Dirt. He becomes my 9th idividual
 G1 winner on the flat.

 De Bulldozer
Now becomes a Multiple G1 winner was not sure he would see it out used up plenty
early to get to the lead but stuck on strong to win the Breeders Cup Mile. he has been
rock solid all season 4 wins & 3 places.

 Take Charge Brandy
Also becomes a Multiple G1 winner another who is always up there and today bagged
the Xpressbet Breeders Cup Sprint to add to his Golden Shaheen I think he has now won
the 2 richest sprints in the world this year his only 2 wins but a lovely consistent horse.

To leave Santa Anita with 5 Breeders Cups is unbelievable such a surprise as i thought
most of my winners were more than held on form by better horses so im delighted.

 NHC

 Sally Army
Well its obvious she is no hurdler but when you know that you have one that is 3 lengths better
you have to side with the better one as you cant enter more than one horse in the same race and
unfortunately i had to come up with a plan b for Sally it was either that or just not run her and it was
worth a punt as my other 2 mile Hurdlers are not up to scratch anyhow there were 2 2milish Grade
one chases this week so i could stick her back over fences in the Dan Moore Memorial Chase and she
bounced back to win well to become my 3rd multiple G1 winner over the sticks. She has now won half
of her starts so have to be delighted with her.

Many Thanks to the team for your continues hard work
wonderful comms again lads just brilliant all season long
congratulations to the winners and placers
cant believe we only have one week left

   |   Re: Weekly ReactionAs noted "Simply Dreaming" won the MD Championship, was well weighted and the first time I have had a single horse win two races in the league and it had a nice pot to boot, although taken a 13lb rise for that, so doubt he would pick up another handicap in the last week, not bad for a 6yo on the flat, he will be trialled over jumps for next season if I still have him somewhere.
"Libranno" came 2nd in the Scottish national, although now sits at 130 for the Paul Moores final next week, so weighted out of that I imagine, but he will give it a go.

Not looked into much of next weeks races but hopeful with the handicaps the horses that deserve something in the NH "Karla" & "Trop Frot" can do well.

8 for the season so far, pleased as took till week 7 to get the first & two away from the magical double figure.

Thanks as always to those who took part and the team who are diamonds.

Sadly working away for most of March, which could put paid to any remarkable improvement in my stable for next season, but will trawl those game breeds lol

   |   Re: Weekly ReactionThe stables good form continued this week. After a poor days racing on Monday, there was one winner on Tuesday and three winners on Wednesday, all over the sticks.
This was a strange week in trying to place horses in races. Up until now I could find an average of 24 races each week for the NH team, but this week there were only 18 NH runners.

Downstairs Maid won the G1 Champion 4yo Hurdle after a dramatic finish where Highland Witch's jockey took an easy win for granted and stopped riding her, just to be passed on the line by Downstairs Maid.

Middleton Girl won the Powers Gold Cup in a very tight finish. She had been there or there abouts all season, but this is her first win.

Satans Curse won the G2 Future Champions Novice Chase with strong run for home with a furlong to go.

Riverboat Girl won the Bet365 Handicap Hurdle sprinting away from the field to win by over 5f.

These were just the highlights of the week, but there were also 11 other horses who ran gallantly to finish in the money.

Congrats to all the winners and placers. Excellent comms as usual guys.
