LMAO that wasn't a cheat horses bred in the Aussie game were faster, if anything I would call that a bug in the game, if we had an Australian trainers in the league(don't recall if there were at that time) who happened to want to play both thier home courses on the game and the main UK game would they have been cheats too?

Where there's smoke there fire. There wouldn't be all this talk about cheating unless some of it was true.
When I saw that forum about the hex editing and how to change the potential of the horse I lost all faith in the league.
SO6 league better have a foolproof system in place to stop all cheating and to ban anyone who's files are found to be altered.
I never cheated once when it came to the league, I've done well on the NH side of the league with a few top 5 overall finishes.
I'd really hate to think that some of the people that finished in front of me cheated.
Its not fair and anyone who cheats is just not a nice person whatsoever and is only overcompensating for there own short comings.
Like most people I go from season to season breeding and trialling and putting in a lot of effort to get a decent team for the league.
The cheaters just go along and edit lines of code and instantly have a beast that will easily win races in the league.
There's no fun in cheating guys, your only fooling yourself.
I just hope that the SO6 league will not allow cheaters to slip through the net.

This is just casting doubt on trainers who did well in the league.
There is no proof that any cheating is going on ( unless you know different ).

Think if there was any cheating going on last season we would have heard by now
as all the files were tested

were there is a loophole you will always find a minority bunch that want to cheat (Quick Success)
i could never understand why anyone would want to cheat in the first place but it has been proven
this was rife in the past (Pre SO5)

I only got involved in having a lge team in SO5 Leagues i would like to think there was no cheating going on
during this time and i don't think there was but as JJ says the doubt is there

With the Plans Mark has in place for the future i doubt cheaters will reappear in the online lge
the amount of work to attempt to crack whatever Mark will have in place will put them off as it willl be too much like hard
work and cheaters hate that
also the fact that the trainer no longer Owns(Has copy of the file) it would think makes it impossible anyway
and as long as the security around the ttf file is failsafe all looks good for a 100% clean league i the future

The new protection makes it much harder to cheat now, before there was no protection.

I notice everyone wants a solution to the CK having some sort of system to separate horses. There is no need for the horse files to be hidden now, the ttf was the best file to hex and that is still in use. You could go back to the old horse files as long as they have the protection.

Ive had a decent go at cheating the new game, the files are encrypted and are just junk, I even tried in memory patching and I managed to change the stat bars on screen but that was just aesthetic, it wasnt deep enough to actually change the horses stats. I went as deep as I knew how to and I tested the exported horses and they were not altered.

I feel like its possible, buts it a fair bit above my pay grade. The chances of someone being skilled enough and having the will to do it on this niche game are slim.

In my opinion, cheating is an issue you can forget about now.

it sounds like you need to be a computer genius who is prepared to spend alot of trying to crack it and to be that way inclinded
that will prob put those who would be qualified to do it (Not Many) off easier to find a hen with teeth

You will never get it to 100% Uncrackable but cheats cheat because they want the shortcut and
if this is alot of work just to do what you have done (Change visuals of stat bars) how long would
it take them to actually get the stats to export (sounds close to impossible) a cheater would not be
bothered to spend the time to do it be quicker doing it the right way (without cheating)

Im sure what you have said Doc will put anyone considering entering mind at ease

I would love to be able to have the export horse files back just for one reason any horse
i export that is not up to standard in flat trials i used to put the file in a folder on pc to test in jumps trials
at a later date (which is currently not possible) and as you said if the export file had the protection
the ttf file had then there would be no issue but i do understand Marks stand on not allowing us to
have them maybe with what you have said he may think about it
