...and the wait goes on.... and on.... thought the league started on the upload PMSL.
Don't hold your breath for next Saturday there will be a technical hitch 1/100 favourite. You heard it here first.
The flat season usually starts with the Lincoln meeting not the declarations jees.
Can we have a president who actually has some knowledge of racing!
Give someone else a go for goodness sake.

At least give Rich the benefit of a season. I've aired my views and I can't see the point in keeping repeating myself. If a large proportion of people still feel this way after the season is over and/or the delays keep happening, then there will be reason to have a re-think about the presidency. But as he's got this far with it then at least give him a chance at this season.
Rich knows plenty about racing I'm sure. Also, of course the season starts with declarations, otherwise there would be no runners in the Lincoln. But I know what you mean, it was said the season would start on 16th and now it seems that the dec's will open on 16th!

ill take the 500/1 if the league start is when uploads begin!! worth a bet, and ill also take the 7/4 on racing beginning in october!!
i think 15 in each is fair, so 30 flat horses in total, and 15 in nhc. Im sure this will be increased mid season to add/replace to improve the stable, but as i havnt got much playing time anymore i will be filling all 45 slots across the leagues and if some fail they will have to be replaced with similar ability horses where the only hope will be that they handle conditions better

We have alot of horses to just pick 15 from and if they turn out rubbish, you would wnt to be changing some pretty soon. Will see how it goes, I know how the game is, better horses keep coming and coming and you want to upload them. Then the purists (epw ) don't like the best trainers refreshing the best stock. I agree with both viewpoints so you can understand the difficulty! So for that reason, whatever it is to start with won't seem like much but will increase. Don't worry about it, if you have you concerns mid season and they are shared by many I'm happy to look at it. In fairness, I thought this was what everyone thought!!!

i interpreted it that way also supercat but i see that he will of meant TOM opens on the 16th
i suppose some players who are playing game hard to get some better horses will love the extra week, as that could equal and extra 1/2 length to a length over some distances which could be the difference between a win and close run

On a positive note, think that most posts have been taken into consideration but not everyone can be pleased me included, have a few doubts about how things are going to run but as a 2nd season player for this year im trusting Rich knows more about the league then me so im sure even if he notices things arnt going right he will correct them if asked.
Changes for the better for me i think include:
Uploads all season with a maximum and cap on retirements and transfers.
No clogging up secondary leagues with horses that just are not going to feature in them.
Lots more thought going into what you want to aim for with your horses when you are uploading them. ( cannot just upload multiples of every distance)
Horses having more of a seasons career rather then being scraped after poor runs.
Some consistent competition between horses in races rather then having to compete against the next super horse that has just been uploaded.
3 race rule for rating sounds good, stopping maiden group winners just hope theres enough maiden races through the season!
Group races done by highest to lowest rating entered ( top 20 i think i read ) All trainers should be able to roughly judge if they are going to make the cut and if not adjust accordingly.
