Post subject:  Testing CK for consistency

Saw a few starnge things when i had to stop trialing half way through and came back to trialing after restarting my pc
and SO6 also other trainers said they are struggling to find consistency in CK so i did this experiment

10 trials 30 runners then game restart and run 10 trials 30 runners same conditions

Points scoring 1st (8) 2nd (6) 3rd (4) 4th (3) 5th (2) 6th (1)

Horse - Score 1st 10 trias Score After Restart 2nd ten trials Total

EXAMPLE 1st 10 20 Pts 2nd 10 12pts = 32 PTS

who ya 19 - 19
tj hooley 34 - 27
denzil 11 - 8
hammer time 32 - 20
hammer to nail 27 - 40
haskel million 7 - 10
charles hammer 17 - 11
home of champions 7 - 13
hummid 14 - 32
sir charles 7 - 29
full steam 18 - 0
home nation 2 - 2
james 23 - 0
dez rez 1 - 4
club platinum 8 - 0
just right 4 - 3
hansen 8 - 2
Skeleton 0 - 19
hick 0 - 1

BIG CHANGES AFTER RESTART
Hammer and Nail became much more consistent after restart
Home of Champions doubled her score after restart
Hummid scored more than double his score after restart
Sir Charles had a 21 point hyke in score after restart
Full Steam scored 0 points after restart 18 in 1st set of trials
James scored 0 points after restart 23 in 1st set of trials
Skeleton failed to score in 1st set of trials scored 19 pts after restart

So Some interesting results BUT my best 3 Ck Performers Hammer to Nail Tj Hooley Hammer Time all
consistently scored in both trial sets

So Make what you will of all that My thoughts are that the CK Just About works ok enough to find your best
but there are issues especially restarting you game during trials this can bring some big changes but your best should
still shine

I think it's very iffy.

In my last jumps cycle I bred a horse called Mixsterthetrickster and in 10 trials he was 2711x74111 which is very good but I've bred with him this week and his horses looked very average in game but I've not trailed them yet.

When I ran my last lot of trails I had a horse called Bollin Star who ran 0f00001022, that's very strange to be awful the first 6 races but be good the last 4.

I have noticed that a horse can go 4 or 5 trials and not make any impression then come with a strong run win 3 of the next 5 and place in the other 2

i have seen this alot its more concerning that if you restart your game the same trials can run very differently how do you know where you stand

i now run 5 trials and restart to give every horse a chance some shine in 1st 5 and do nothing in 2nd 5 and also the other way round

Trialing has never been easy

My other concern is i have not got close to my PB for ages i have concentrated on one distance 1m and starting to think there is no
improvement left in the milers

The last time i hit my Mile PB was a sprinter running handy and just about stayed on to win

The hardest part will be doing the final trials and making sure u best horse wins, u going to have to run more trails and different ways. It could come down to luck.

I've stopped worrying about times, I just make sure I run even/consistent races.

Agree final trials different tracks conditions with pace and no pace etc

Just trialing to continue finding best but think i have hit the wall with milers

The races seems much more of a lottery and look strange the way horses move back and forward with the new graphics.

Not surprised the CK is inconsistent, by the sounds of it better of ignoring times completely in this new game, have to say I prefer the old 2d, game feels bloated I think with the new 3d.
