   |   Race Video RunnersTo the people running the races over the weekend - can we please have the Australian races run in metres.Even the Japan races as well.
 
 As an Australian, it would be appreciated.

   |   Re: Race Video RunnersWhatever next!!We Brits gave you a really easy, sensible system: 12 inches to the foot, 3 feet to the yard,, 220 yards to the furlong, 8 furlongs to the mile, not forgetting links and chains as well (what could be easier) and you want to use these strange foreign units that work on ridiculous bases of either 10 or a hundred.
 I don't know what the world is coming to, you'll be wanting our jockeys weighed using those new fangled weird foreign kilogram things next!!!
 
 P.S. For what it's worth, I think, if it's not too much work or hassle for the race runners, it would be nice if all races were run as per the country of origins own standard.

I'll do the metres but I refuse to do the Kilos( whatever they are)  Just metres is fine, John - Messing with the weights would throw this site into melt down    lol
