NEW NH HUNT RATINGS
Has this is the first season of SO6 we was going to get bugs and the Jumps ratings this week was way to low some winning horse's like mine getting ratings of 116 so I have just manually alter the horse files ratings and in Tom for this week hopefully it will now be fine for this week to follow on. I started with a base of 130 for winning horse's but taking in consideration of how the horse won field sizes etc. so I punished all ghost's horse's to 160 no I didn't really lol and worked my way down the only problem with the jumps is we get Faller's and Pulled Up Horse's and I have to give these horse's ratings as well so I decided to give all Faller's, Unseated Horse's, Brought Down and injured Horse no change at all will stay with a mark of 100. Now here comes the problem Pulled up horse's so I again based these on the last home horse's rating and give a couple below that the problem with that is some big stables who's horse's may of been Pulled up will also get low ratings but this has to be its not fair to give joe blogs Pulled up horse a rating of 85 and Mr Bigs Pulled up horse 100 I try and be fair to everyone so that's it any problem's with the ratings or the way I have Handicapped your donkey let me know here. Gray P.S Please be kind

Re: NEW NH HUNT RATINGS
I want a stewards inquiry, my horse has been rated 199. That means he's better than Arkle.

Re: NEW NH HUNT RATINGS
Do you mean R14 for WK3? They are correct as you cannot allocate ratings for NH Flat horses in CK or TOM I believe, It shouldn't matter as there isn't any NH Flat h'caps. I have allocated ratings for the NH race from last week in a notepad if anyone is curious but yeah I think that is the reason they are all showing up as 100.

All good - I wasn't having a crack, just curious.

Gray P.S Please be kind If a horse has not finished a race for whatever reason, its rating should remain at 100 otherwise the handicapper is just guessing which is unfair to all trainers. By reducing the mark of a horse that's been pulled up you run the risk of potentially allowing group class horses to run in handicaps off a low or even bottom weight which is not good for the league. Imo ratings of pulled up horses should also remain at 100 until they have completed a race and can be assessed properly. Kev.
