Post Re: Weekly Reaction
Very nice first day for me with 4 winners on the jumps, should have been five, but we shall get to that.

Flat

Think I got a bit carried away with Royal Ascot this week and broke some of my entry rules, showed in a disappointing first day.

Werewolf of London - 4th - Front ran as I would like, but died in the last 1f. Maybe a 7f horse for the league.

Fine on Paper - 7th - Had no business being in this race, needs to look back to handicaps.

American Road Trip - 4th - Funnily enough ‘Hans’ horse ‘Blue Swain’ ran just like ‘Frankel’ today, go figure, and my chap did what he has done all year, almost but not quite good enough.

The Beasts Arrived - 5th - Late charging sprinters who’d have em. Left it all too late today, but did stay on well enough, likely already his G1 win for the year.

Hippogriff - 7th and Chain of Causation - 9th - First and I think only time I shall run two in one race, both outclassed today in G1 company and both on a downward spiral to the handicaps.

Tarasque - 9th - Was giving a lot of weight away but looks a shadow of a horse who won her opening day maiden.

Red John - 9th - Very disappointed and on today’s evidence I should have brought him in as a 3yo.

Jump

4 wins from 7 and it could have been 5. Delighted with the overall performance of my jumps team. Hard work paying off it seems.

The Show - 1st - Finally got a break after going close a lot of times, second G1 jumps win for the season, very happy with him today.

Pursuit of Magic - 1st - Showed his maiden form in this G2 today with his typical late surge to run down a very good Leon horse. Very pleased with that.

Sky High - 5th - Ran in snatches for his worst performance in the league so far, had fancied him here and will put this down as a glitch.

Shesa Animal - 3rd - Ran close once again with very little to split the top three. A win will come I am sure of it, Queen Mother looks set to be a blinder this season.

Kingdom of Ireland - 1st - My weakest 2.4m hurdle horse on trial form and only filly up to week 5. Ran a storming race today and off high weight. Not likely to get too many more cracks at the handicaps.

Battle for Sparta - DSQ - Denied a debut win today, and having watched this several times I cannot see why, if anything he was nudged towards the leading horse and rail on the run in by John’s eventual winner and just jumped better at the last. Still I have profited from racekit woe at others expense this season so no complaints, just my turn today.

Ground Pounder - 1st - Shock of the day this from my 3m hurdle specialist. Had a few goes at chasing with no trial form to speak off due to no other race options. Last thing I expected today though he will not likely see many more now his handicap will go up.

Congrats to the other winners and placers and thanks to the team for another great show.

Josh

A decent start to the week on the flat.
I managed to pick up a nice win in the Royal Hunt Cup with Fast King in what was an amazing finish of changing fortunes. I actually fancied my other runner more (the previous winner King Bollin) but he likes a sharp mile and I think was undone by the frenetic pace Hans horse set (note to self: no more complaining to Gray about the 2 runner rule as I wouldn't even of run the winner  :)).
Also picked up a decent second in the Sandringham and I still have a couple with lively chances to come.
The jumps was the usual tale of woe with not a penny earned, 6th in the Grand Sefton was ok and my horse in the Becher was in the process of running a big race when the jockey fell off 3 out.
The worst though was Rehearsal chase where my horse fell on the flat!!!! That just about sums my jumpers up, they don't even need a fence to fall :(. I remember seeing a horse clipping heels and coming down in S05 but I cannot recall seeing it happen, in my game or in the league, in S07. has anyone else?
Congrats to all the winners, it's great to be back but not sure I will make the next 2 nights live shows.
The politically correct "Gok Wans" on the preview show are a hoot although I am not sure it promotes inclusiveness.

Congrats to all winners and placers!

I managed my best result at Royal Ascot ever with a second place with Juventus. Other than that, it is not going well. But I enjoy the show.

Good luck tonight, everyone!

I'd like to recognize Ghostzapper's mare Coigach. She may be the best horse I've ever seen in the league.

Probably deserves a race named after her.

Normally u don't know how good a horse is in game because they run differently in the CK but she blew away every horse I bred the year she was breed and I had a feeling she was going to be special but she had to beat my 140 rated league horse Allegreto in her races and she smashed her and every other horse I had by 5L's and I knew then that she was very special and that's why I entered her as a 4yo so I could race her for two years but I thought she deserved to have a go at 6 and she seems better now than ever even though her bars have gone down. She been a very hard horse to breed to because she never bred anyone half as good as her until Toe The Line came along and they have had a good battle in my races. What makes her special his her turn of foot in the last furlong. I've said from a early stage that she is the best I ever breed. She's probably in front of Ghostzapper ( triple crown winner) now in terms of my all time best. :D :D

Howdy

Well thats my debut week out of the way, and i'm very happy with how things went.
Finished midfield in most of my 6 races and considering they were mainly Group 2's and 3's, not too shabby. :D
6th in a couple of Group 2 and 8th in a couple of Group 3.

I think i was a little unlucky in R18 when my horse "Pop The Cork" was cutoff by the eventually winner "My Melody Parks" inside 1.5f.

I am only running in 5f-7f races this season so it will take a couple of weeks to get most of my stable a rating given the number of events they can enter unraced.
Hoping to get amongst some prize money in week 7!

...and a big thanks to everyone that makes these events work, it sure is alot of fun.

Cheers

2 Days to catch up on I had 4 winners at Royal Ascot and 2 National Hunt winners

Press conference
Wins the Commonwealth Cup to bag her maiden Group One win she becomes my 6th Individual G1
winner and my 8th G1 win of the Season id say the July Cup will be next for her

Marge Simpson
Wins the Tercentenary Stakes stakes making all and winning very impressively must run now in the
Eclipse after that performance and Goodwood is great for front runners and she has earned her place.

London Bridge
Won the King Edward VII stakes you have to say the Derby winner ran with great credit it took everything
my lad had to beat him and he was getting 6 pounds off him rematch in the irish Derby off levels.

Your So Thrilling
Won her second G1 of the season after impressively winning the Corronation Stakes its off
to the Falmouth next

My 2 Grand National Horses won this week The Long Goodbye in maiden company and Lord Vader
won his second race this one at G3 level now Gray he should be rated 170 after the way he won that  the
plan all along is to get one of these rated as high as possible to give Coffee De London the best chance
possible to defend his crown so on that note its been a great week for him without even racing.

Sorry i missed the live streams this week but watched everything in the mornings and the previews
shows were at a different level they were brilliant Stu I hope you feel better mate the 3 guys on the shows
have a great chemistry and it really throws up quality shows and they are also very funny thanks lads keep them
coming.

Congratulations to the winners and placers
huge thanks to the team
fab comms as ever

Get well soon Leon mate

see you all next week.

Eagerly waiting for the NH ratings update

I see i have a bye in the cup Quarter final should i get through
the next round   a bye bye as im down to meet Josh
who is on fire at the moment #luckofthedraw

My luck was in this week. Your flat horses are simply put much better, those same NH horses who could do no wrong this week may go back to 2nd 3rd and 4th next, much less consistent when compared to flat in general. Should be a good round, and I shall likely need thunder to be paying attention and helping John and Stephen in taking flat wins off you :)

A good week for me on the flat picking up a win in the second to last flat race of the week with "Bop It" but lets be honest picking up four 2nd's :-( the week could of been much better, but 8 finished in the money :D

My new flat horses looked quite good with one getting a rating of 109 "Geostorm" after its 2nd in a maiden is probably the highest rated 2yo I have ever had.

The hunt nothing to report other than another 2nd :( and another 7 in the money.

Hopeful that I can pick up a win or two over the next few weeks as my stable has been pretty poor at the halfway point of the season.

Good luck to Moilets in the cup competition.

Well done to all winners & placers, the team and all who take part.

Wow. I never thought I would write this, but I did very well in the hunt this week 8)

Three of my new horses came second in their maidens. Very promising, maybe I am starting to do something right?

And Samp won in the long hurdle. Very happy. Royal Ascot was harsh, and I managed a third in the race named after me, Arrogante Stakes.

Well done Tim for winning the Arrogante. The Arrogante family silver spoon is on its way

Congrats to all winners, placers and debutants. Keep up the good work everybody.
