Re: Weekly Reaction
Not sure what it says about the rating system from a consistency point of view. My national horse went to 144 simply for winning a maiden......

Its very consistent , u win a maiden over a longer trip and u get 140 rating. Its been that way just about every season in SO6. Present Abbey won a maiden two seasons ago and was given 140 , Struggle won a maiden last season and was given 140 and My horse Queen won a maiden at the start of this season and she was given 140.

Re: Weekly Reaction
A win in each code last week. I had high hopes for a lot of my flat runners last week and most of them bombed out. I have even higher hopes this week.

Re: Weekly Reaction
And there is my first G1 flat win! Dreamers Mile won the G1 Etihad Airways Falmouth Stakes and there were no signs she could do this! Even considered to scratch her after week 5, she ran 5th and 10th in G1s and 12th in a G3, maybe she likes it to run without stallions!? Also Clear Eyes Full Hearts was able to win the NH Flat Race also surprising, nice start into the week. Congrats to all winners and placers and as always to the league team for the excellent work! Re: Weekly Reaction
Sensational day 6 winners on the flat 3 new horses breaking their maiden tag 1 win over the sticks
We Built This City Got her 3rd win of the season and first in Group company
Maxi Mize Debutant winner and had to show alot of heart to get back up she will go for all the major juvenile g1s
Cowa Zakki Leger horse gets of the mark on second attempt something like a leger trial next.
Karl Marx Prix Du Cadran horse who has got off the mark at the 2nd attempt a run in group company next.
Press Conference Bags her second g1 in 2 weeks added the July Cup to her Commenwealth Cup victory hopefully more to come from her sprint cup might be next.
Offshore Her second win of the season and first in Group company time is running out for her winning that g1 maybe a couple more opportunities left.
Story Teller Already a g1 winner and giving weight away all around and still managed to win looking like my stable star for sure. My only grade one winner this season so far.
Congrats to the winners and placers thanks to the team & excellent comms as usual missed the preview shows this week lads I hope you will be back in action soon.
finally congrats to Moilets on your G1 winner

Re: Weekly Reaction
Flat
No winners on the flat today but a couple of nice 2nd places.
Jumps
3 winners over fences today, a G1, a G2 and a H'cap
Eagle Bridge Boy won the G1 Christmas Hurdle. He's been in the money all season and this is his 2nd win.
Garden Vale Girl, my No. 2 horse, won the G2 Relkeel Hurdle. This is her 4th win of the season. 2m 4f hurdles seems to be my strongest event this season. My No. 1 horse goes in the race 30, the G1 Hattons Grace Hurdle.
Drummond Shore Boy won the Silver Cup H'cap Chase running off a very nice mark, despite this being his 2nd h'cap win of the season.
Well done Holger on your G1 win. Hopefully, many more to come.
Congrats to all winners and placers.
Jim

Re: Weekly Reaction
Quiet day on the flat only a handful of runners but 1 winner and 2 over the sticks
Jacky Chan second win of the season after his st leger maiden win on week 1 he just about qualified for this and did very well with the weight carried the step back up in trip suited here had no idea he would stay 2 miles especially carrying 9.8 in the Northumberland Plate but he did it not sure where next maybe the Leger or Irish Leger.
Fort Lauderdale only his 2nd career start and he wins the King George did very well to ware down Carl & Leons horses even though i fancied him I thought the trip might be too short he is a proper Gold Cup horse alot to look forward to with him.
Detection 2nd win of the season drastically dropped into handicap company after his grade 2 win earlier in the season after a couple of poor runs was not sure this one would win again not sure where next for him he is very inconsistent.
Congratulations to the winners and placers thanks to the team and great comms as usual
Im sure Martin and Doug are just taking a well earned break from the shows hope its nothing to do with what happend last week we miss you.

Quote: Im sure Martin and Doug are just taking a well earned break from the shows hope its nothing to do with what happend last week we miss you. Just having a short break - we always end up gas-bagging, so Martin has heaps of editing to do which takes ages and I usually don't get to bed til 2am because of time zones. So for the Royal Ascot shows (for example) - it was 3 nights in a row where I didn't crash til 2am. Doug

Re: Weekly Reaction
So far this week I've collected a bit of chump change but I did have a nice 3rd in a low grade chase and two of my stayers got butchered by wide draws and then trapped wide on the flat. Hopefully for SO7 we don't have race starts on the apex of bends any more. Good to see Jamie Hopkins bag another winner
