Thank feck I dont have a life I did the same and checked out his stable to see if he had a horse called Sandy Hook ! Lots of old English based horsenames in there from the 80s 90s though so whoever it is has a good racing knowledge. On another issue I agree with you about returning horses.

Re: Weekly Reaction
Quote: Yesterday I heard a rumor that Gene Rosen had died. His business card was posted online, so I took the liberty of calling him. Imagine my surprise when he answered on the 2nd ring !! "Hello, may I speak to Gene Rosen", I asked. "Speaking", was his reply. "Well, I'm glad to hear that rumors of your death have been greatly exaggerated!", I said cheerily. "Who is this?", he asked. "My name is Tony Mead and I am an Admin at the Sandy Hook Hoax Facebook Page". "Why do you have that page?", he asked "A lot of people don't believe that we've ever been told the truth of what happened that day. and we continue to share information in the hope that we will someday find out" Silence. "How do you feel about everything that's transpired since the incident", I asked. "I don't think I want to talk to YOU about it --- AT ALL !!" CLICK - he hung up. when someone says dont do something i always do it ha ha he hung up coz he was breeding like a mad man

We will probably win the Villa game - away from the Amex - and if they do you will have to sing for me as well I thought we'd win last weekend but I now think there are two factors at play. 1) These lower teams are thinking "Let's spoil their party" and are playing out of their skins when they have nothing to play for but pride. 2) The boys minds are elsewhere and thinking of bigger things next season and really you can't blame them for that - probably still pouring Moet on their cornflakes lol

Re: Weekly Reaction
Another 6 winners today 4 flat 2 NH
King Kobra My 3 year old 2 miler had it all his own way took up the lead and was full of running the whole way the others could not land a blow was surprised with the small field size this early in the season onto the Queens Vase next
News Round My St Leger hope put in a mighty performance on debut almost made all and stayed on right to the end to hold off Johns horse a stepup into stakes company next maybe a leger trial.
South Carolina My Oaks filly really could not have made a better start to her career she won very handsomely it will be an oaks trial next maybe at Chester or York.
Twin Turbo My Sheema Classic horse got off the mark and just held off Davids Horse by a head pleasing debut and booked her ticket to Meydan.
Pandamonium Have 2 candidates for the RSA this season this fella and Case closed Legacy who is to run tomorrow but what a lovely debut from Pandamonium running out a smooth winner by over 3 lengths looked classy.
Jack Frost Jack is my Number 2 2m4 chaser the No1 Juliet Bravo won yesterday it was a smart debut always a distance i struggled with but they look competitive this year up to Graded Company next for Jack.
Well done all the winners and placers thanks to the team as always great comms from the lads as usual Gene another winner today

Re: Weekly Reaction
Only six, Jesus man your slacking, pull yer finger out.
Marginally better day for me, my flat horses may not be as awful as I suspect with Mission Accomplished grabbing me my first win of the year and decent showings from Pumpkin and Twisted Transistor (best song intro ever). My NH boys and girls though not off the mark also ran well, largely all in the mix, with The Wraith and Chocolate Cake just missing out, and the ground is all against my soft loving team. I am rain dancing already.

Re: Weekly Reaction
Another nice day for the stable. A couple of placers on the flat and 2 winners and 4 placers over fences.
Baxterstreet Boy won a 2m 4f hurdle moving into a challanging position with 3f to go and running on strongly to win by a couple of lengths.
Manorpool Boy won a 2m 3f hurdle just getting up on the line. He was a surprise winner as his best distance is 2 miles and I only entered him into the race because there was no shorter race available. Luckily, with the 3f rule he will still be eligible for 2 mile races.
An honourable mention must go to Crimepool Boy who was just run into 2nd by a head in NHF race. Thought he was going win, but was just pipped on the line.
Also, I must mention Greenpark Lad who ran in a 3m 5f race and finished 4th. This is probably the best result I have ever had for a longer distance horse as this maiden was in effect a G1 race. I will try him in the Moores Millions 4m 2f race next week and see if he stays the distance. I was thinking of him as a possible Grand National horse but after his 4th place, he is already quite high in the handicap.
After only 2 days racing, Paul is looking good for the flat title.
Congrats to all the winners and placers.
The comms were magnificent as usual. The league wouldn't be the same without all these splendid commentators.
