Yes i will admit that win has made my season.
1st and 2nd in the Melbourne Cup was beyond expectations.
If i could win only one race this season that was it.
Orpheus was the surprise as i expected Frostbite to be the contender.

Add to that winning the Caulfield Cup and the Manikato Stakes its been a nice way to finish this season.

....and there is still one days racing to go.

One winner for me today Oh Ruby Wins the juvenile race in France her 7th win of the season and she has been the stable star this season 12 starts 7 wins and 4 places Huge thanks to the team appreciate the hard work and effort you all put in Many Thanks to the commentators well done to the winners and placers

I thought it was funny lol then again I don't think anyone should take anything serious I believe Stu Said last week it was going to do different coms this Week in a Carnival end of season. Gray By the way Thanks everyone who ran a race or commentated and Handicapped Races.

Three winners for me on day two - 1 over the fences and 2 on the flat. I survived the kiss of death when both my horses in my second flat win were made joint fav' before the race - I always groan out loud when my horse/s are made fav' because they never win but this time they ran 1st and 3rd - so to say I am happy is an understatement. Conrats to JANGO for winning the Melbourne Cup - good to see the money stay in Australia

I do feel that league horses that originate from the country their game is played on perform just a little better when running on their home tracks in the league - just something I have noticed over the past few years.
