Have spoken to Doug today and we will start the review shows next week if people still want them.

Will probably follow a similar format as last year just a little bit more streamlined and more of a magazine show than a straight review. We will still take an in depth look at a couple of races, waffle about some inane nonsense and do a round up of each days racing.

This year we are hoping to add a who's hot and who's not section highlighting trainers/horses in or out of form along with a weekly look at the standings stats etc.

Also we want to incorporate a feature section. This will be in the form of either a trainer interview or a discussion about a part of the league or game, or possibly even a real racing topic or feature on a specific race or horse from the past.

Tim - can you do your Tim's three to follow section again.

If anyone else has any ideas, or wants to volunteer to report on a race, do a feature or be one of guests just let us know. We could also have a news and/or a question and answer section.

Im up for a magazine show

always thought you took on too much reviewing every single race
maybe a select few big races and a handicap corner part of the show
something for every one be nice to also showcase when a trainer wins
his/her first race. that would be more low maintenance for you guys who
are the stars of the show.

60+ races a week was impossible to review in a 30 or 60 min show.

Strangely small field for what is arguably the most important race of the season form wise. Just look back through the years at how many winners come out of it.

I usually have a firm idea about the classics by the end of April and occasionally earlier (my 33/1 ante post bets on New Approach, Sir Percy, Taghrooda and Golden Horn being recent highlights but this year I had no great inspiration. Being drawn to the French horse Al Wukair more and more though. Duban on the other hand I think is nailed on for Sunday.
