Tim - to nutshell it for you - stamina is only important for stayers and really all it does is show you approx. how far your horse can run.
If what you are thinking is that you want your horses to have that extra bit of grunt near the end of the race then what you need is a higher 'Cruising Burst' bar.

If you want to breed some real stayers and you are just playing a flat game - start up a jumps game - find a stallion or two that you fancy and transfer them into your flat game and breeding barn - you'll be good to go :-)

First Races Begin Friday 17th November Sirius 5pm UK Time I would make sure Thursday Night to be on the safe side and entered in the races mate.

Due to illness which included a lengthy stay in hospital, I have only spent about 4 weeks breeding since the last season of SO6 and most of my horses are not as competetive as I would like, but come what may, I have uploaded all my flat team, this will stop me tinkering with it anymore. Don't think there will be many winners in it. Most will be too good for handicaps but not good enough to be group winners.

The jumps team is almost ready, just need to sort out a couple of long distance horses and a bumper horse. I will upload the jumps team in the next few days. The 2 mile and 2m 4f horses look to be okay on paper, but the rest are poor.

I have decided that there will be no last minute breeding frenzie for me. I had already uploaded the flat horses and now the jumpers have been uploaded and both sets of horses have been entered into races.

Can't wait for the live stream on Sunday night to see how the first days racing goes. For all the fact I am now an old hand at the league, there is a nice sense of anticipation to see how my horses will perform.
