so with the 5 horses bred, i sold one, and the other 4, well they stuck to plan and all got group 1 win. i retired them at the age of 7 in november, bred them, saw the horse i sold as a group 1 winner (won it as a 1 miler,i was running him as 1m4f-1m6f) got 4 home bred horses, sold 1 , and by the end of their 3 year old season the 3 horses remaining group 1 winners. end of season,4 new home bred horses from the horses retired atAGE7 + the 3 remaining 3yearold horses(now AGED4) = 7 = my plans working out ,, i have yet to export any horses from my new save, on the reason i want a family tree behind the horse i enter. |

Confident then we all are at the start key is to stick to it even if things dont go your way early onmany newcomers have huge expectations at the start and throw in the towel in after week 2 look how brilliantly Martin managed his stable (Last years champion rookie) he is the template to follow. Id also not go into the season not expecting too much you are very new to the game you have to go up against trainers that have been through multiple thousands of seasons some of the horses could have 1000s of generations through them its a tough starting place as this is our 3rd or 4th season of SO6 online league. You can win tons of races but you need to cleverly manage your stable if you throw your horses into G1s straight away you could ruin the chance of doing that as they will be rated as g1 horses anyway best of luck its a great league and wait til you watch your horses winning live being called home by pro commentators thats when you will get the buzz for it. |

Echo what paul has said, starting your horses out in group races, especially G1, is unwise, they will also most likely be scratched in the final card. Even if they run last, they will be rated against their competition in the race and could as a consequence be out of their actual handicap for weeks after effectively taking them out of the running for half the season. I admire the confidence, but though it may not be glamorous you should be thinking handicaps and maidens. There are plenty of low and mid tier trainers who have years on you in game time that have never one a group race. Approach this with patience, if you do happen to have something that is up to snuff, there are lots of top races later in the schedule you can try your hand in, once you understand where your horses are against the rest. Winning G1's in the game is largely meaningless for the league, I have had horse win 30+ game g1's not even make my shortlist at trial. |

lol - I assure you if what you think is going to happen, happens the chaps here will be the first to congratulate you, but for the most part what we do not like is new players quitting after a few weeks as there superstar game horses get owned. We have all been where you are, full of confidence your horses are great, then we discovered what great really looks like

facts are facts are facts this is the last online league on so6 then we all have no horse exports and start from scratch on so7 so this year is me getting comfortable, for you guys to get to know and love me,truthfully and hopefully just hoping for one of the crazy horse names i picked to win in a maiden |

im thinking about the next step to my breeding plan tho i need another link, i could buy horses from the same gave save or start a new game save to get the horse/'s im looking for, start a little breeding program in that game save, find the breeds(aka. the missing link in a sense) and transfer them into the game save with the real breeding program after they have ran in their first season/(2yearoldseason)(flats) |
