Post Returning Horses
I have one horse that is returning the rest are all new.

Do you have to do anything special when uploading a returning horse?

I haven't tried to upload Greenpark Lad yet just in case I have to do something different.

I am going to try him in the Grand National again. Does he need to have run another 3 times this season to qualify, or does last seasons runs count towards the 3 races?

I have uploaded the horse in question, but I noticed that TOM has his best distance 4f less than his best distance now that he is an 8yo. Will the horse need to be run according to what TOM says or can he be run at a greater distance?

I think distance rule would only apply if you want to run in a handicap first start. If you run the horse in a non handicap on first start of the new season distance rule will then apply to that first run.

Thanks Kev

Just so I don't break any rules, I have entered him into a maiden race 3f more than what TOM says. This is only 1f less than I think his best distance should be. This way he is still in the 3f spread rule and if his record starts fresh in the new season, he is running close to his best distance.
