If I have offended too many trainers with my new silks, I apologise. They were designed to make my horses stand out and also a little tongue in cheek.

I am not much of a traditionalist when it comes to horse racing. I don't follow it real life and have only placed about 5 bets in my life and they were all on the Grand National, usually on horses I had drawn in the works sweep.

I can probably change them for next week, it just requires the other race runners to make a small mod to SO6 and me to spend about 30 minutes with a graphics program.

What offends you, the red boots, the black leggings or both?

I hope the Poll works out to keep the silks, we need a little light heartedness in our lives.

I don't think they need to be changed. Gave us all something to be a bit light hearted about in the preview. Hope we didn't offend you with our comments. It is only a game and anything that is harmless and makes it more fun can't be bad so I vote they stay.

Anything that gets Ronnie James Dio a name check has to be good !!

Hahahahahahahaha :-) I am glad you heard that :-)

Actually Jim - I like what you have done! This opens up the possibility of customising our silks for next season AND for SO7.
Have you done it just for your league stable or is it something you have done in your home game and it has transferred into your league stable?

As you all know, I'm a big gun for just one set of silks per league stable or one set for flat and one set for the hunt.

I think this is quite an exciting development for the league!

Jim,

I really hope mine/our comments did not offend, just "eye catching" and that is all good, I am sure after a few days we will all view them as the norm and as Doug has said, this maybe the start of more personalised silks for the future and enhance the league....

p.s who the bloody hell is Ronnie James Dio ??? (was he not Crocket & Tubbs boss on Miami Vice)

I see no problem either Jim you can have what silks you want but if a race runner don't what them in their game its up to them.

I think they look awful, but they are in no way offensive, is all personal choice if you like them keep them.

Steve (Teleprompter) made me silks which I used in week 1 season 1 of so6 but because no one else had them I reverted back to game silks now here is a link to Steve's Silks surely if Steve give the go ahead each Trainer could claim a silk have the name above the silk and use in the game then I could have the certain folders to pass to race runners who then use them on the league Races then revert back to game silks after Season.

I didn't take any offence by the comments in the opening show. In fact, I like your comments, it was a bit of fun.

AS far as customising silks for each trainer, plain colours are very easy to do. I tried putting stars and some smaller shapes on the silks, but they don't really show up in the races. One large square or circle or star or large stripes shows up not too bad.

Gray I saw teleprompters silks, they look great. He is much better with a graphics program than I am. I see no reason why we all couldn't have individual silks. I would cerainly add them to my game.

The standard game comes with 82 silks, all I did was get the racerunners to add my silks to the bottom of the list, so they don't interfere with any of the standard silks in the game. By adding the customised silks to the end of the list, any trainer can still use the standard silks if they want. It just need somenoe to co-ordinate which silks appear in which order so that everyone knows where their silks are in the list of silks.

I agree with Martin, it is only a game and a bit of light hearted fun never goes wrong.

I am happy for the silks to be used in whatever way the league sees fit.

Go ahead.

Jim I don't have u colours. If u want them in my game will u send over the whole jockey file, I don't want to mess with mine because my game has become temperamental.
