I have a confession to make.
In my mad rush to upload my stables on Thursday night I have contravened the clones rule. To be quite frank the horse in question is not exactly a clone, it's the same horse lol.
I have Mister Cat uploaded as a 3yo 1m6f flat horse.
I also have Mister Cat uploaded as a 4yo 3m2f novice jumps horse.
I really am not sure how TOM allowed me to do this as it always throws an error if you try to upload different horses with the same name.
Obviously one of them will have to be deleted, I'm just not sure which one.
He did run appallingly on the flat but can I watch him run over jumps tonight before making a decision :).
My apologies but maybe I have inadvertently exposed a glitch.
Darren

Darren,

I'd get rid of the 4YO jumper as I don't think there are any 4+ chases after the turn of the year

I tend to agree James. He will probably run even worse over jumps and although he's pretty useless on the flat he did run on the wrong ground so might have a workable mark.

If he has run you will need to retire him I will up your retirements allowed to 6. Deletes after a horse has run causes some issues, and actually I think I have put some code in too make it impossible to delete horses that have run in a season.

Let me know which one and I will make the changes manually in the database

I would agree with this as I foolishly put some 4yo chasers in during the window last season and made them novices.

Spent most of their time hurdling as most novices chases are 5+. Which makes 5yos winning the Grand National even dafter eh Stu !!

Well that was typical, the 4yo jumps version finished 3rd, my best performance of the week lol.
