Post Week 3 NH Race 35
Hi Gray,

Can you manually enter Stretford into this?

The only horses available were 2m horses so not sure if something is wrong.

Thanks as always
James

Only one horse allowed in the Guineas I thought it was 2 this season in all the classics
and thats why the stables were extended if this is still the case can Youre So Thrilling
& Cape Thorne be manually entered in the 1000 & 2000 please

My opinion is that it should only be one horse per tainer in the classics, except maybe the Grand National or other big jumps races.

I am probably in the top tier of trainers and if I enter 2 horses and Paul, Thunder, Steve and other top trainers all enter 2 horses, there is no chance that a middle tier trainer can pull off an upset or even get any of the minor place prize money.

We want to encourage the middle tier trainers, not put them off taking part.

Hi Paul some have been allotted 2 but not all Group UK Races below are races up to week 5 that have 2.
I will allow 2 in most group races Next Season including Guineas if it's working fine.

Week 3
Qatar Dahilia Stakes
Qipco Handicap
Bet365 Mile
Totepool.Com Royal Mile
Your Favourite Pool Bets

Week 4
MBNA Chester Vase
Preakness Stakes

Week 5
Investec Oaks
Investec Derby
Seymour pierce Henry II Stakes

Gray

P.S Remember the group limit and all Trainers will get a runner that have entered. then its done by ratings handicaps its 30 limit then lowest rating cut first

No problem just i thought the chat you and Martin had on here about getting all best horses in the classics
and thought i was sure it was agreed that trainers could have 2 runners in the classics and this was the reason
for extending the stable size thats why i went with 4 x 3YO Milers and 4 x 1m4 horses I would not have done that
knowing what i know now I agree with Jim that should only be 1 per trainer but im sure it was agreed between you
and Martin thats why i shaped my team in the way i did i must look back through the conversation.

Its no Biggy i think we need to make it very clear on changes in future as i say no biggy

I expect it was Paul but I may of forgot to adjust the entries for the guineas and I cant change it now it wont let me so I let Leon know and perhaps he could edit it to allow 2 if not I will open another thread so trainers who want two can have two.

I have no issue keeping it to one this time but its slightly disheartening when big changes are made after long discussions and debates
and then put in stone but then not implemented im not having a go you do an amazing job Gray by far better than anyone could and to be perfectly
honest the league is what it is because of all the work you put into it and you do so much the long yards you go to i appreciate you hugely and respect
you even more I just think in future when we make big decisions on the future of the league we need to get them ironed out
and implemented so everyone knows exactly where we stand chopping and changing things during the season cant be a good thing.

Anyway its not a big issue have sent a horse to the Australian Guineas now and Cape thorne will just have to have the week off.

Again greatly appreciate you Gray.
