Tom was a right pain the week before with having horses having different weights to what the files were saying, I didn't know which was right then, Tom or the files. |

Most weeks when I am running races I find horses running off the wrong weights. I do have a quick look at horses weights, but I don't check every single horse, it would be just too time consuming. I spend about 4 to 5 hours each week running races and if I had to check every single horse in every race, the time would almost double. As racerunners we try to have all the races run by Saturday evening at the latest so the commentators have time to do their bit. If I had to check every single horses rating, I don't always have 8 hours to spare between Friday and Saturday evening to run races. I think Josh said something similiar in another thread. This week there was only Gray, Josh and myself running races. I ran about 36 races this week, which took about 9 hours between Friday and Saturday evenings. There's no way I could have run all these races and checked all the horse files at the same time. The best the racerunners could hope to do is look for anything that obviously stands out in the ratings. The situation is not ideal, but we do try our best, but sometimes we miss things. Jim |

These rerun races will be with the ratings the horses had to start the week right? Because I changed the ratings for races 13 to 17 in TOM before I realized they were not right. |

Yes these are the Horse files I got from Leon I keep a copy of all race folders in case of Mistakes they will be in my folder Sirius with the flat Races I ran this week. Like Jim said it is a tedious job checking everything and fair play to Jim he Jumped in this week as we was 2 race runners down it can be time consuming and Mistakes happen Hopefully I have a Volunteer for next season just hope no one else stops and maybe another 1 or 2 might jump in.Gray |
