Post The nearest thing to perfection
This is the nearest I will get to the perfect 2yo horse in SO6
every bar is as high as i can get it I cant improve any
of them this is my little frankinstiens monster I know
others have better potential bars but i have spent almost
8 months looking for a full bar 2yo and i have never found
one they must be rarer than hens teeth or no long available
maybe after a patch fix any way i finally got there every
bar maxed as far as i can get it maxed without cheating
and i wouldn't have no clue how to do that or have no desire to
do so

This is my Faypien from this season, she's coming back for next season but her running style is not really suited to the league and might need a pacemaker .

This is my two year old sprinter Montendre, he only ran once and almost made up 10L in the last 2 furlongs, never know how good he could have been.

He needs a mare with 100% speed rating , he's only got 99%

I might have found that horse with 100% potential at 2 but getting that into my horses was the hardest thing ever and it made my horses like him have to come from right at the back and he was the only full horse that ever made the finals. To be frank i wasted to much time and im not sure it was worth it though he was a freak.

This is the best I have at the moment.

About 5 or 6 weeks ago I posted on the general forum about my potential, cruising burst and extra speed bars all dropping about 5%. I have spent the last 5 weeks trying to get the bars back up again but this is the best I have managed. They are still about 2% or 3% below what I had before. What is surprising is that this colt as a 3yo is better than the horses I bred before with the better bars. The one bar that is significantly better than before is the confidence bar. I don't know if this is making a difference or not. I must admit that I tended to ignore this bar previously.

The best 2yo I had before the bars dropped was only 97% potential. Now the best I have is 95%

Like Paul, I would like to borrow your horse for an hour.

I have given up for the time being trying to improve the bars of my flat horses and have been messing about with my 2 mile hurdlers with some good results.

Post Re: The nearest thing to perfection
The closer I get to that perfect looking horse, the further away I seem to get from a good one, this is especially true for my jumps breeding, and after this season I shall stay with my 90% speed 65/70% cruising, full potential at 5yo if at all jumps lineages.

I will confess I am well on the way to making my flat horses look like this, and here at trial the results do show through for the most part, I only cracked full speed and 80% crusing in any breed last week. If i knew how to post images i’d show my jump stars from this season, there horses I think most of you chaps would bin :)

Post Re: The nearest thing to perfection
jumps side i never look at stats its all about the trials but i spend such a small amount of time on it

with the flat i really think i have got as far as i can go and Steve and John are well ahead of me in turms of horse
quality if John ran a full team of flat horses he would be virtually impossible to beat just look at his strike
rate on the flat its unreal.

I wont be able to bridge the gap to them and have given up trying because believe
me I have tried everything in actual fact im probably the number 4 flat trainer if Thunderspark had not missed
a few weeks he would be ahead of me too. I have just hit the wall since last season really improvements have
been so minor. my team next season will be virtually the same quality as this seasons and last seasons. So basically
im messing about trying to find this so called perfect horse and i already know it will more likely stink up the ck but
i am enjoying the challenge.

Im really looking forward to getting my teeth into SO7
