Re: Monsters!!!!
I had a spell of thinking this just after the league mode started. Realised that because of all the bars moving over 1, due to the potential bar, it meant I was automatically going to look at the speed bar as the stamina one. I've not noticed anything like this, my sprinters at most producing milers which has always been the case.

Re: Monsters!!!!
the horses in the Yearling and 2YO sales are terrible I have never bought a decent one yet all my best horses have come from the breeding sales anyone else bought a decent yearling or 2YO I have given up going to those sales

The way I play means I can't tell which is which, but enough to keep me buying every horse from each. The normal 2yo sales I never bother with, always been a waste of time in my experience

Re: Monsters!!!!
Just my game then I think i've bought 1 decent two year old in the sales, the yearling sales are just crap and I skip them now. The flat side is easier to pick up decent horses at the sales but the jumps is real tough.

Re: Monsters!!!!
After 8 seasons my flat horses suck I can't find or breed a colt of any ability. I might need to clean out my breeding barn and see if anything comes along.

Re: Monsters!!!!
I'm struggling exactly the same, can't get anything with 100 Pot or any colt winning much in either the CK or game. Just lowered my Breeding barn mares from 105 to 50. Was getting carried away.

Re: Monsters!!!!
I've got probably two more years left with my colts and mares and if nothing comes through then i'll get shot of the lot and try to find some other horses to start with, im not starting again though. I wanted to play one game and one game it is, for better or worse. At this rate worse

Re: Monsters!!!!
its not plain sailing here just cos u got a full bar doesn't mean the lines any good I cant get a 3yo past an older horse 2yo rarely win 1st time up regardless of stats and the amount of 6f horses that are actually 7f 7f/milers are giving me headache and don't even get me started on the 1m1f/1m2f horses the bars are messing with me good and the jockeys about as useful as a chocolate teacup!

Re: Monsters!!!!
I've got to admit I don't mind struggling, I only want horses good enough for the AW series now that all my horses will be dirt breeds. I had a good stallion to start the game but I don't think I used him enough and so I lost his lines. I've got a horse with 96-97 potential but he was a 100 rated horse and hasn't given off any half decent horses. I think I got lucky with my jumpers because I found that gamebreed gold cup winner and he's given me some lovely jumpers but I think I didn't use him enough.

Re: Monsters!!!!
Its anyone's guess whether a horse will get full but its got as much potential as u going to get at 2 , make sure u save him as a two year old as well as the rest of the years.
