Just 1 winner on the flat for me

PARK ROYAL
WOW headed into the final furlong but battled back to win the Prix l'Abbaye
her 5th Group 1 of the season all at 5 furlongs bringing up my 50th winner
on the flat and my 22nd G1 success all by my 3 year olds.

Congratulations to the winners and placers especially Ryan who got another
winner well done mate.

Huge thanks to the team

Loving the cheltenham preview shows they are fantastic and really insightful
Josh good to hear that you saw it as healthy competition I always had the greatest
respect for you getting yourself to the top and if I helped to inspire you along the way
I find that a complete honour mate.

Single win for me at Cheltenham, but was the Ryanair so cannot be unhappy with that, I’ll glaze over the fact it was not from the horse I expected and likely only came as Leon’s took a nose dive.

Decent accounts given by my stayers hurdle, golden miller and trull house horses. Baring an act of god that’s likely my lot for this year.

Flat blank.

Post Re: Trainers Thoughts & Reviews
Good first 2 days for me especially with my first Cheltenham winner, with a game bred too

Hanun Colony - Placed in yet another big handicap, as consistent as they come, always runs his race, and usually off a decently high weight, might be tough for him to get his nose in front now though

Hanun Volta - 4th in the 0-110 H'cap 12f. Ran a great race, and as always flying late. Couldn't see her beating Putian but she done a better job than I thought she would. Hopefully still races for her before her retirement, been a good horse for me, very consistent in the lower races

Xinyi Player - 1st in the Betfred Sprint G1, Another classy performance from her, definitely the one to beat over 6f. Left this one very late but given how the rest of the hold up horses never got there, almost all the other top finishes were always up there, looks like a bit of a monster performance to come from the back.

Putian Bargain - 2nd Irish Champion Stakes G1. She ran a blinder, was uploaded specifically if a 1m2 race came up soft, and looked to be a great decision until Pauls nabbed her in the final half furlong. A brilliant performance still, and might be thereabouts again on soft if it comes up

Hanghu leary - 4th Doncaster Cup, always runs his race, but seems just short of the top horses, I'm currently trying to breed better tactical speed into his lines, which is where he seems to struggle

Putian Crus - 1st Silver Wedding 0-110. Massive performance winning this from a rating of 110. And coming from last place to 1st. Deserves the win having ran Sinn Script so close on debut, then very unlucky coming so wide an 4th in the King George. One to look out for in the final few weeks, especially if he gets his conditions of a fast pace

NH

Hadaj - 1st Pertempts Network G3H'cap Hurdle. Always knew this was going to improve for the Cheltenham hill as he needs about 3m5 over hurdles, ran a blinder and was one horse I did fancy at Cheltenham, however given hes a game bred horse you never can tell. He's definitely being bred to now though.

Congrats to all winners, an great work from everyone behind the scenes too, especially the preview shows. Need to get them done every week now lads, preview those claimers at taunton every week too :)

Great start to the festival for me.

Really happy with my wins at Cheltenham. Been amazing. Mine have all shown good fighting spirit and have been really strong at the finish.

Also really with happy with the win in the arc. Really enjoyed Nick's commentary as well. I have tried for over 10 years to win the arc. Uploading course specialist etc but never even got a place. I had a course specialist again and this time she was good enough

Thanks for everyone for putting this all together. Preview shows have been great. Really adds to the experience

On another note Park Royal should be disqualified. It ran outside the course

Post Re: Trainers Thoughts & Reviews
Doesn't get much better than this weeks racing for me in the league. Will start with my flat donkeys.

Fable Masters jockey was shocking this week taking a pull at a crucial stage of the race. Must have thought he had a lot let left in the tank. She stayed on very well in the end. Will go again next week and if there is any SOFT she will be difficult to beat.

Not sure I've ever seen a Cheltenham festival like this one. The amount of epic close finishes was a joy to watch. This league as advanced so much over the years and the people behind the scenes make it so much more enjoyable than ever before. I thank you for that. I'm hooked again and that's an exciting thought.

Cheltenham Festival

Honor Robbers (1st) - What a start to the festival. This horse comes alive round here and he was going to be my Champion Hurdle horse. Reason why i gave him a chance as a novice is i didn't have one this season. Lot's of lessons learnt going forward with novices. He will definitely be coming back for the Champion Hurdle were i think he's around 3L better and stays 2m4f very well. So many option next season for him.

Suttonia Demure (1st) Very nicely weighted this week and stayed on stoutly up that hill. Wasn't expecting a win but a placed would have be good. Very pleased.

Universal Rule (2nd) I knew this horse was good around here and he showed that today giving the champion mare a real race. What an epic battle to the line. I've been very fortunate to win this race in the past so to lose to a true champion is okay for me. I'll have you next season Leon

Daltawa Mattino (2nd) If the CH was hard to take this was even worse. Thought i had it with under half a furlong left for Leon horse to find another gear and pass me on the line. Another epic finish again.

Andhaar Revere (4th) He ran like novice this week. So many bad jumping mistakes and still manage to finish 4th. Name of the game jumping, especially round here in these championship races. I've so much better at home it's very encouraging for next season.

Yeomanry Implication (2nd) Yet again another close 2nd place finish to the all conquering LVR horses. Another who i knew would run very well here this week. My horses always come alive around this time of year for Cheltenham. Very pleasing knowing i have an army of 3mH who beat this horse out of sight. Doesn't even make my top 15 anymore.

Lyons Mayhem (2nd) Wasn't expecting much from this horse. Very well handicapped and just been touched off close home. Very old horse in my game from season 20 i think.

Heart Paces (1st) My horses really do shine around here. He's been very average all season and pulls out a fine performance this week. He's deleted from my trails and wasn't expecting this run today. Shocked but not surprised.

As for the others not that good and below average. Zomaradah Alarab i expected better to be honest. Just one of those off days.

Congrats to all the winners this week and places. Been an awesome week.

Thanks to the team behind the scenes as always. Bring on day 3 and my Gold Cup

3 Winners for me including a last gasp lucky Cheltenham Festival winner

In The Hunt
at last one of the older gen wins a Group 1 and In The Hunt was due
she has been top class over 2m4 all season and just found 1 too good
in the Ascot gold cup. This was her 4th win of the season in the Prix
Du Cadran and my 23rd G1 overall.

Seychelles
Wrote her off as an average plodder always getting outpaced over 10 furlongs
and then she wins a Group race over 9 this league never ceases to amaze me
Hopeful she will return to France for a crack at a Group 1.

Troy
Let me say straight away she DID NOT win and it hurts to deny C Beckwith a
festival winner but its out of my hands can only apologize.

Huge thanks to the team.

Have to say the preview shows have been just exceptional.

Well done to the winners and placers good luck for next week.

Great Cheltenham for me. My best ever. GI Joe winning was a great result for me. Was worried when Landscape Road went so far clear but GI Joe finished powerfully up the hill.

Will enjoy it as next year will be more competitive with a large number of trainers returning plus Hemz, Josh and others likely to be much stronger. Doubt I will be able to get anywhere close to this season's performance again. It doesn't take long to get good horses. Two of my best horses are pre season 30

Well done to all the winners. The Cheltenham festival was really good this year. Lots of close finishes. Good to see.

What an awesome week of racing in the NH. really lived up to it's billing and some. Thanks again for all who made it happen. Looking forward to next season.

The LVR train continues. What a performance by your stable.

Nothing really to mention on the final day. Landscape Road ran a solid race. Jockey didn't time his run right and kicked probably a 1f and half to early and ran out of steam in the end. Great 1st and 2nd by LVR horses, great race overall. Will try again next season :( .

Congrats to all the winner and places this week. The league will be much better next season and this week is a great advocate for any one interested in joining the league next season. I know to old veterans of the game are preparing a stable. Will be a lot more competitive for sure.

3 Winners for me on the flat and 2 of them get their first wins

War Admiral
9 start winless steak finally comes to an end after he smartly won the
corwallis Stakes G3. It was a beautifully timed ride and its great to see
him go out a winner not sure there is anything else left for him this season

Adamski
AT LAST he finally shows something been a huge headscratcher for me another
who had a 9 race loosing streak but finally gets off the mark by winning the
British Long Distance Cup G2 and how brave was he he made all. War Admiral
& Adamski become my 21st and 22nd individual winners on the flat out of 30
horses to represent the yard.

Park Royal
Thought this was going to be the farewell tour but I see there is a 5 and a half
furlong sprint at the breeders cup so she could get another run before the end
of the season. She is so powerful over 5 I thought she had little chance with all
the penalties but she did it with alot of class.

Huge congratulations to the winners and placers especially Paul O'Neil on your big win

Huge thanks to the team & the excellent commentators.

Best of luck for the rest of the week.

Week 11 - Flat Day 1

Some decent placed efforts on day 1 on the flat without a winner.

Week 11 - NH Day 1

Zomaradah Alarab ( Grade 1-1st) - Always held in high regard at home and showed his class today. Made amends for his poor showing at Cheltenham last week with a fine performance. Will go to Punchestown with a major chance next week. Have some of her offspring waiting in the wings which i hope are as good if not better than her.

Again some nice placed efforts in top company. Honor Robbers got boxed in and had nowhere to go and stayed on well for 3rd.

Week 11 - Flat Day 2

Pivotal Heffron (G1-1st) - Had such a poor first half of the season i was sure he was below average. In my trails he was a very good and it's finally showing now. This was a unknown test for him today and he passed with flying colours. Really pleased i have some top class 2yo this season and have many better ones for next season. it's one division right now i'm very excited about for the flat season next season.

Fable Master (G1-1st) - My best 2yo horse in the league this season and has been racing below her best trip and ground, she will be so much better over further and more cut in the ground. Her class and tenacity showed today in fighting off the LVR horse close horse. I really do love her to bits.

Week 11 - NH Day 2

Daltawa Mattino (Grade 1-1st) - Nice win in G1 company this week. I thought she was going to give in but she fought back very well. Makes up for my Cheltenham defeat.

Awesome week so far for me. Starting to find form at the right time and these Festivals are what we all aim for.

Congrats to all winner and places this week. Shout out to James Shea on the Grand National win.

To the team behind the scenes as always thanks. It's very much appreciated.
