had bad tummy pains for over 2 weeks cant go toilet
so finally i ring the drs no much help on Thursday .. they said first go to pharmacy and if no help ring back in 3 days
friends gave me tablets and said you be sitting on the toilet all day {wrong} caused more pain and no going toilet
so Friday my boss tells me to ring dr again ... so i did and they said ok you need to take sachets .. 4 sachets 1st day .. 6 sachets day 2 and day 3...i said they wont work as will cause more pain but they would not listen to
so got sachets in afternoon .. 4pm then 8pm then 11:45pm.. went to bed and pains from hell all night and no sleep
i ring my boss at work sat morning telling all this .. she said ring the dr again and tell them..so i did
they said you have only taken 3 sachets .. i said yes and gave me more stronger pains .. they said you need to follow the steps 4 first day .. 6 sachets day 2 and day 3 sachets .. not doing it
so i ring my boss again .. she said ring 111 i did and went to Newton Abbot hospital i had x-rays then sent to A+E in torquay
more x-rays and told to stay in overnight as need CT scan
Sunday morning i was violently sick .. next thing took to have CT scan
less then 2 hours later consultant came with x-ray prints ill never his words
on your right is a twisted bowl but on the left side in a balloon and the skin is getting thinner .. he said if this ballon pops theres nothing we can do for you .. WTF
he said this is how it is
we need emergency operation within the next few hours because of the balloon popping
because its a emergency operation we can not give you any promises as emergency
so he said ill let you think about it and we get you in theatre soon
i made phones calls to a few friends and my next of kin just in case
anyway went to theatre i kinda remember waking up after operation
then spent 4 days in intensive care itu where drugged up cant remember alot about itu
then went to a ward.. now recovering out of hospital and getting better
the morale of this story .. did my boss Ali save my life
if i had taken the 3 days taking sachets that balloon could of popped.. and GOODBYE
