 Trials
Hi.
A stupid question, but when you trial horses, do you use a fixed going? Or random?

 Re: Trials
Only Good ground on the flat. I do trail some distances on dirt, that's because I only use the US game.

 Re: Trials
I would normally do 5 races, with 1 race each on Soft/GS/Good/GF/Firm for Flat, across 2 turf tracks, usually Ascot + York/Newmarket/Goodwood then one set of trials on A/W, normally Newcastle.
Jumps, usually Soft/GS/Good
