6f Shen Al Calhar ........93
5f Deathwatch Guard....95 This rating was achieved after running and winning a 7f handicap. Outpaced more often then not in 5f/6f

Ah yes! How could I forget about the online ratings!

I'm slightly excited then as i've exported a horse 119 rated 8) I'll save for next year though when I become Dandy Nicholls

Don't mean to piss on your party, but I've had many horses exported at 2yo, rated 130 - some of them went onto success in the league, and others were a crock of shite.

I wouldn't judge a horses game ability in respect of the league, you'd need to trial it in your race builder against your current league crop to gage its ability.

Yeah I know, but I lost my horse files a month or so ago with all my current league horses on. I've trialled against what i've got and not too far away from a current league track record set by J P Burke, who ever that is (don't think i've seen them play this year).

I had a horse when I first joined league which beat everything on game and in CK well, going away well at finish every time over 3 trips - in league best has been about 3rd in a poor race

Trial and error, mostly the latter. But it's all good fun.

Do you mean league ratings or in-game ratings? I don't even race my 2yo anymore. They go straight to export and trialling. I've noticed that my 2yo are very unpredictable. They will either run really well or will "dwelt or tardy start" so they finish in mid group.

I go by my trial times like..........

Newmarket - (Good-Firm) G1 - Open

    Age Min Time Current Time
    =========================
    2 - 5f (58.60) Warwind 57.44
    2 - 5f (58.60) Utopia 57.50
    2 - 5f (58.60) Seaspray 57.39
    2 - 6f (1:11.50) Seaspray 1:09.92
    2 - 6f (1:11.50) Flagstaff 1:10.35
    2 - 6f (1:11.50) Mithras 1:10.02
    ---------------------------------------------

My only 2yo on UKRA is Seaspray which just won a maiden but she lost 2x to Ninette and All Gold.

Serious? That could be very costly Thunder. I've had many of my best horses run green on there first start, and thus will perform nowhere near their true ability.

Exporting them this way without any racecourse experience could detract from just how good they might be after a run or two.

Liam them ratings are the online leagues ratings for my current 2yo s if you where talking about the game ratings then they reach 130 but like Duke said that dont mean they are any good when it comes to the league.

I guess it does sound strange not running them. But whats even stranger is that I don't run most of my 3yos either. Only 1 horse runs per month just to advance the date. They all get retired before they turn 4.

I advance it to mid March and then late October which is when I export them. Other than that none of my horses see the racetrack anymore except in the trials lol.
