Post Melbourne Cup Weights
Rich,

I believe the weights are wrong. There should be a weight allowance for 3yo's (and 4yo's over 1m6 until start of May - but we don't run on months). I should also recieve a filly allowance too with it being a group race.

Anyone wish to comment on this?

If it's saying as it is then it's stupid, as we promote the game to be ran as in reality but instead we have 1 set of rules for 1 race - then another set for another race.

Example; the Breeders Cup race this week that Jeune and Speaking Terms ran in. Speaking Terms is a 4yo colt and therefore has to give Jeune, a 3yo filly, 9lb's each time they face eachother.

Speak to Mark, currently the game doesn't operate in this way.

Isn't there anything you can alter to reflect the WFA rules? I thought this was a bit of canny placement, given the correct rules.

I just don't know how the game can be promoting realism, apart from certain aspects. I'd understand if it didn't have any WFA, but as my example shows it does cater for certain WFA.

Unfortunately the game doesn't have WFA combined with Group Handicaps. I admit, it would be great to have and it's something to look into. But the G1 Hcps throughout the US season haven't have the WFA allowance either so it's hard to start now.
