Another note is trail on different ground types, very rarely you will see FIRM ground in the NH league.

Post hi
i have now decided to play the game in terms of the league in mind
im in season 23
the original schedule with combined flat and jumps
i exported all poor horses and then retired them to stud
now im just looking for simply g1 horses either through breeding or buying
i dont have anything unbeatable yet though ?
is this the way to do it in your opinion...anyone lol ?

ps i did have a horse with 17 g1 wins but sent it to stud before i knew about the league so was kinda gutted.

I've had some horses what's won 20+ G1 races John and turned out to be shit in the CK.

The best thing to do is trail them at the end of each season, the ones that are good keep them and put in the barn, ones that are poor get rid straight away. Even if they have won countless G1's.

Once you have a good mixture of Stallions and Mares, breed lots of them make sure you have a mixture of speed and stamina running through your lines.

Do this every season.

Also check in the Daily Auctions and at the end of the year Auctions.

It's good to check often if you are only just starting out in your game.

Another thing is breed with game horses in the barn, some are very good indeed. It's just dropping on the right ones.

Here some more Jumpers to look out for this season.

Lets hope they live upto there home reputation!!!

Brave Echo 5m-2mC - This mare has been showing up very well in my trails. She loves Cheltenham. Could be my Queen Mother Horse.

What A Charm 6G-2m4fH - Got a mixed bunch of 2m4+H this season, they could very well be my best horses in the stable. I had very strong 2m4H last season. Think iv got even better this season. Il be going all out to win the Neptune at the Festival.

Ultra High 6m-3m2fC - Really like this mare a lot. The main aim this season is the Gold Cup, i will be going all out to win this race!!! I've got about 15 top class 3m+C, my main problem is which ones i upload.

Melodic Chant 6m-3mH - Very talented Hurdler, though not my strongest area this season, she should go very well. Hoping to get better in time for the start of the season.

Saint Philip 6S-2m4fC - Been with me awhile and still beats my new crop, what this horse does is battle, he will not go down without a fight. Gonna have lots of fun with him.

An Glantana 6G- 3m2f - This gelding loves Cheltenham, seem to be improving every 5 seasons with my 3m+ Chasers. This horse has gears, could he be the one!!!! Can beat Super Satin out of sight.

I'm hoping it will be 30+. I've got 400 national hunt horses exported haha. Gonna be long nights of trialling and picking the best. I've 200 for the flat too to narrow down.

I would like 30 max for the NH.

Wow over 400 to trail good luck with that

Long night!!! More like days jimmy, for me trailing over jumps takes for ever mate.

Flat is a lot easier than jumps. So many mixed results, and ground is so important.

Hey Jimmy do you use MSN at all?

I've got my 2 mile Hurdlers, 3 mile 2 chasers and grand national horses already finished trialing. I usually tend to pick the ones that are consistently good on all types of ground. Yeah, I've trialed a few flat races and the results are very consistent. I dont use msn, gmail mostly.

You think your the only one going for the gold cup Hemz?

Was a bit miffed to finish 2nd so....

Look out for Cosmic Blaster and Naughty Gene both Cheltenham horses but the former is very versatile.

Love my 3milers and got a nice one in Better Half. Still gotta trail the hurdlers but def improvement

All like to drop out so traffic problems will be an obvious problem but they all have a full set of gears.

Will be improved on the 2m and 2m4f chasers but the rest are no better than last season.

Gonna throw in a 4miler, not a good jumper but stays on well, will have to see.

I know am not the only one going for the GC Fixit.

All am saying is i have my strongest 3m Chasers ever this season.

I've got so many it's going to be difficult deciding on which ones to go for

Not keen on my 3mH at the moment.

My stayers are looking much better than last season.
