div 2 of race 20, afraid my bad steve, entered Acclimatize who is a 5-6f horse into a 1m2f race!! Not trying to cheat the handicapper as it would struggle to place in a 40-70 5-6f race off 40!! Was on Holiday for week 1 and just wanted to enter as many decent horses i had to get a mark so they would be able to run this season.
I'll abide with what ever decision you and the stewards make. :)

Can you confirm please Rich or Steve, when you say a 7f horse can run at 6f and 5f are you classing 1m1f 1m3f and so as the same? So a 1m4f maiden runner would not be able to run at 1 mile would it? 1m1f at a minimum is this correct?

Rich wold be the person to ask Mike, not sure what the rules are.

Just setting up the thread in anticipation.

Not sure who the stewards are.

Would say 12f horse minimum should be 10f max 14f.

6f (5f-7f) etc

But Rich will need to clarify.

If a horse has been entered incorrectly at a distance then this is the place to put it so that the handicapper can factor that into their decision. Those horses then wouldn't have to stick to the 2f spread as that race would be ignored.

This is the reason I didnt enter my certain Triple Crown winner, couldnt decide wether I wanted the Guineas or the Derby so I didnt bother.

Only handicaps l believe, doesnt make no difference with group races as no advantage

Horses not flagged up here by the trainer may be in trouble with the stewards.

Race 11 New Day should have been entered in race 12.
6f horse unlikely to stay 1m7f.

I'll give it a rating of 80 (mid placing between high of 100 and low of 60).

You should be free to run it where you like from this mark.

Mike/Rich is that okay?

It will remain on its mark of 79. Ignoring the run in race 11.

To be honest Rich/Steve if either of you mind l dont mind taking up my role as assistant steward. If Steve is ok with me working alongside l will go through the entries on a sunday and highlight any horses needed.I would then send this list to steve with reason why it is in list and cus races get run too quick for us to remove horse what we did previously was give that horse the mark they get for finishing and then add a penalty 10ilb rather than re-running. If you would like me to do this and your ok with that steve please let me know and l will start making notes
