It will be a few weeks before the season starts, which is a 2-3 months away yet. I would concentrate on breeding for now.

I think im right when i say you can have 30 horses in your stable and make sure its balanced. By that I mean have 2 horses at each distance

5f
6f
7f
1m
1m2
1m4
1m6
2m
2m2
2m4

The above distances and two horses at each distance gives you 20 horses. And the two horses could be one of each sex or one at 3yo and a 4yo. Or you could have two 3yo colts or two 4yo fillies, the choice is yours! I didn't bother with 2yo's this season and I'll probably only have a few next season, but obviously that is individual choice.

But I would aim to breed horses at the above distances and when Steve(East Pier Whitby) has done the new schedule you can tailor your stable to that. I had too many horses at the same distance this season because they were my better horses BUT I would've had more winners had I uploaded 5 lesser horses at other distances, had no runners at 2m or 7f really.

I believe that between everyone we can put together a pretty good guide to the league too. Watch out for that

Thanks for your help, will follow this guide!

Does it really last so long till next start!?

I think I have 2-4 horses who reach the race times I've found in the forum here, some "work" to get 20 or more for the league, but seems I have some time for this!

Is there a rating who leads the league in points or something?

Do they reach the time in the race builder?? That is what is important for the league.

If you can login into TOM it has a trainers table there. Scatters is top of the flat and Hemz the NH

ya would be very suprised if you get the times thunder put up afer 1 day owning the game i have been trying for months to reach them
and have not got near yet geting nearer but still a way to go yet s0 unless you are the luckiest person ever i think you are quoting times
your horses have done in the game not in race builder there is a massive difference

but wish you the best of luck you have time to get a good team together

Did play some fast seasons over the weekend, best in race builder is a 6F which ran 1:10.0.

But at the same time in races over 1m horses can run very wide. Newmarket only has one bend. I also have a stayer who wins every trial at Ascot by 5-8L but then finishes 2nd or 3rd at Newmarket and Longchamp.

Was to tired yesterday so I trialed my best before going to bed over 2000m and 2400m without pacemakers and reached 2:10 and 2:35, think that's 3 secs away from the best, will save a pacemaker and trial again, what do you think these times mean for the lge, which level are they able to reach right now?

well i would say those times are good enough to win handicap races i had horses last season that were around the same times
i put them stupidly in g1's and they finished last or in botom 3 which ruined any chance of winning a handicap

i would start in maiden then go handicaping route if they are decent you can always up them in class later on its very
hard doing it the other way g1 then back down to handicaps
