Post Re: finally hit a standard time
Wonder how many league players do reach these standard times? And do they have such fast horses for every distance or only for 2 or 3 distances.?
Mine are getting better but will take time to reach standard times while there is only 1 league season left maybe will never reached, but looking forward to SO5 where everyone starts from scratch!
Will a 59s 5F horse leave the handicaps?

Post Re: finally hit a standard time
i have several in the standard time brackett especially in sprint division and a few close to it and still breeding to improve

the 1 i find really hard is 1m2f 2min7secs

my best are around 208.25
cant get in the 7s no matter what i try prb had over 3000 1m2f horses and just cant break the 2min 7secs

and 1m4 im getting 234.06 not getting in 33s but maybe get there by next week

i have a 6f sprinter as pacmeaker and a mile pacemaker they set a steady gallop for first mile and then the pack take over
dont no if i have my pacemakes right for 1m4f or 1m2f trials sounds stupid but i have a feeling that my best can go a fair bit
quicker then what they are doing.

Pj what you are doing is correct, pacemakers only need to set up a steady gallop early which should be fine. My 8f pace maker drops out from about 8 to 10f anyway.

Cheers

Strange but besides the long distances 10 furlongs is the only time i can beat.

We all use pacemakers in our trials. But I dont think trainers do for the 5 and 6f sprints.

So when playing the game if I have a 6f sprinter who has good starting/breaking then I export that horse as a pacemaker and use him in my 1m trials. For my 1m2 trials I have a 7f/1m horse that I exported as pacemaker, a 1m2 horse for my 1m4/1m6 trials etc.

Does that make sense? It just makes our trials more consistent with a true run race.

I guarantee you'll have fun and win races in the league, if you fancy getting some of your horses in the trials that would be good too?!

And hows about you, Paul?

Its entirely upto you mate. I put all my best in the trials last year and they ran ok, but most of the top trainers kept their best horses back. I'll probably put my best in again this year as I wont be challenging for G1's. The trials are a bit of fun and dont count for anything.

So whatever you choose, get them in!!!!
