Post Trial everything
I have now come to the decision that when trialling for the league in game careers mean absolutely nothing the horse below
believe it or not is my best trialling 1m4f horse and as you can see he has not had the best of careers in the so4 game
(but trials better than anything else) I have had 1m4f horses have unbeaten careers some 30+ g1 wins and he is quicker and more
Consistent in ck than all of them so my advice to newbie’s TRIAL EVERYTHING you just don’t know how good they are
until you trial in CK I always used to send the cream of the crop to trial but now I send everything at the end of each season .

You cant judge a horses league potential based on what he/she does in the game you HAVE to trial them to see if they anygood

You only just realised this PJ oh dear?

Your horse can win over 100 G1's in the game but turn out to be shite in the CK, it really doesn't matter how many G1's they win a maiden horse can beat them all in the CK.

I've had horses which didn't win anything in my game and was very good in CK.

You are right trail everything :)

hi Henz mate no i have been doing it for a while but to be honest most mine have successful game careers anyway but this is a poor game
horse and just shows new people that dont depend on what a horse does in the game i have been trialing everything for a month now the
above is the most suprising result most of my best have very good careers in the game he so far has been well below adverage

I agree mate.

Once you have deep bloodlines as well it helps with horses having a bad career in the game and been very good in the CK.

Think it's wrong, how the game does that. But after awhile winning G1's becomes very easy, even on hard settings.

Guessing your still playing the game for the upcoming season?

save yourself time. Trial all flat at 2 and all jumpers at 3. If they rubbish at that age in the ck they stay rubbish. Never seen one improve even if multiple g1 winner

Absolute rubbish mate, my 2yo league horses are always different from my 3yo in trials. The fact l aim my horses to peak at 3 may be the case but with 99% confidence l can say your quote is rubbish and if you are indeed doing that you will certainly miss out on some good 3yo,s.

I stand by what I say. Its got to be better than average at 2 in the ck. I still trial a lot that weren't good at 2 at 3 and even at 4 but if they bad at 2 they stay bad. Especially true with anything up to 10 furlongs.

Been like this for me in all the So's. On another note I have played way more seasons now so will be competitive this time round especially in jumps and over long distances on the flat. Have quite a few that beat those standard times over 1m6 and 2m.

my 10 furlong are close as well. I think I'm pretty much at the same standard now as I was in SO2 and So3

I have to totally disagree with this.

Most of mine improve tenfold when they become 5,6yo and even older if they stay 3m4f+.

This must be down to your breeding style leon it has to be.

You had some nice types last season over jumps, so you are doing something right, but to say trail all your horses at 3 over jumps is misleading to newbies who want to join the league.

Horses over jumps for me improve with age...

Flat guys always have good 4yo 2m-2m4 jumpers. For me who has a combined schedule, most of mine improve from 5 and 6yo over 2m-3m2f and all the way up to 10yo over 4m+

Good to here mate. Hope the time and effort pays off for you.

You want to use some of you castoffs for the NH League, ones that just missed the cut in your final 30.

Good man!!

Train them on until 5 and 6yo mate, at this rate you may have a full stable for both leagues :)

I've not played the game in weeks now. Got a few il be uploading from playing while last season was still going.

Hope they are up to scratch, don't think il have a better squad than last season, but hoping they are competitive.

Thanks mate, you to :)

Not be going all out to win it this season, will leave that to Thunder and the Duke. Well i say that but they will have to improve there 3m+ horses by about 20L

Just certain races il be aiming for next season. I have most in the bag except a few GC :x for one and a second Grand National would be nice, but you need a lot of luck in that race.
