Have to be quick.

Three seconds in G1's, I think, and one by a short head  Away Away rewarded for her consistency in a G2 and got to be happy with the level of some horses in only my second season.

Oh and I didn't run any races this week. I say that because I heard whispers that some trainers thought I was cheating, though I hope that wasn't true.

Well done all and thanks to Craig for running ALL the races.

Well...I won the Derby which is the most unexpected result in the history of my Starters Orders career. Bale is decent at Epsom but I didn't think he was good enough to place.......

Night Terror on the other hand is a monstrosity at Epsom but had to settle for 3rd in the Oaks in one of the best races I've ever watched in the league.

Elsewhere in the amazing week Advancing came second to Doza's Invite, he really needs firmer ground and finally got it. Duke of Florence was 3L off the pace and Yawn....came last.

Thanks to Craig for running the races and Dave for running NH. Good work guys, hopefully we're back to normal now.

Well done winners and placers :)

Well done Rich on first classic win :)

1 winner and a 2nd for me this week, which is 1 winner and a 2nd more than I usually get

Thanks for races Craig, David (theres a joke in there somewhere)

I for one DONT think you're a cheat Matt, and I have no problem with you running the races.

Matt

 , That always seems to be the problem when you take on extra jobs to make the league run, people are never satisfied, i for one am very grateful that you step up and have run the races for us. NO PROBLEMS with you doing it again i will add.

2 winners and a number of good places again this week. (Seems they like to run 5th a lot)

Clasp and Northern Lights were my winners, the later won of a massive weight as well so pleased with that!

Thanks for the races again guys and PJR spot on with them previews this week, my horses were just not up to the grade!

There can be no cheating when a Moliets Breedeers horse wins his first Flat race!

Congrats to the winners and placers!

When someone thinks there is cheating he should leave or found his private league, no one is forced to enter the league races.

Thanks for running the races, keep on the good work!

Lets put it to bed and move on. I just wanted to mention it as if I was to win a big race I dont a whole load of nonsense on here. Thanks for the positive comments.

I think its been a good season. Well done to Moilets for winning them races in the NH, impressive in your first season. It would be great if everyone gets a winner before the season ends. Well done all so far and good luck for the remaining weeks.

Post Re: UKRA Week 6 reviews
I dont believe for one minute that there is any cheating going on at all but yes BUT lol i have only entered about 5 horses this week from 30 horses on the flat and that isn't because i think someone is fiddling the books its because after 6 weeks my horses are not good enough to even trouble the middle finishers as the horses are so tightly handicapped that my donkeys couldn't get pissed in a brewery.

Just for Example week 6 race 7 Baltic King Hcp (65-80) it states ratings 65-80 yet the winner Coming Of Age ran off a rating of 82 carrying 9.2 he wasn't the only horse in the field above that rating either so the bottom weight rated 70 Ightening Pearl carried 8.4 finished 11th to me this is not a fair playing field when the race states 65-80 someone should be taking horses over the race ratings out i read on other posts this being done in the NH game where a horse making its debut in grade 1 races being taken out so someone is taking out horses that shouldn't run in the NH so why is no one taking out horses on the flat that shouldn't run.

Another example race 19 Vague Shot Mile Hcp (65-80) the winner Clasp ran off a rating of 86 he should run in handicaps that are 81-95 its not fair if us guys who have bad horses who are running in the lower handicaps to try and find a winner when the stated ratings mean nothing its not a fair playing field and if we dont have anyone to take care of this then its up to the players themselves to make sure they ran thier horse's in the right races.

Its pointless for me entering horses in lower handicaps because even then in the lower end they ran out of the handicap you might say then if your horses aint good enough dont upload them but i had winners last season and these horses are better and i would delete my horses from tom but the delete button is not on and the point of the lower handicaps where for online trainers like me who are years behind most trainers in breeding to be competitive in the league.

Ok had my rant dont mean to upset anyone

I think you have some very good points, simpleminds. It was very unfortunate that we ended up with no flat handicapper. As we have now had 7 weeks of the season it might be worth reviewing the handicap bands for the last 5 weeks of races as I also dont think it is fair on trainers with lesser horses. Maybe now is the time to stick to the handicap brackets of the races and give all trainers a fairer chance of winning races. I certainly dont want trainers to lose interest and stop entering horses, its not good for the league.

Maybe we can discuss it over this week and then Rich can advise before Saturdays decs?
