Cheer for races, Rich. Well done in GC but we both know my horse is better(sour grapes). And you should check out the Harvard Trophy, a G1!!!!!!

Ta to Craig for running the second half of the races.

Post Re: UK Races - Week 7
So I have to be happy with mine. I always aim my horses at Ascot, though didn't worry about handicap marks as much this season, and I had a pretty good week.

Soldier Of Fortune finished 3rd in the Coventry and really happy with him as I spent little time developing my 2yos's.

Girls finished 2nd in the Golden Jubilee and although I've been 2nd a lot in G1's now its still pleasing.

Away Away bolted up in the G1 race over 2m2. I think she got the run on them but its normally my horses finishing too late, so it made a lovely change!

Both Compelling and Trick Hats decided to turn up this week with the former just getting up in the Hardwicke and Trick Hats winning the Group race over 1m6. Respecttheocean was unlucky there but as said its normally mine!

Hawksbill finished 3rd in the Ribblesdale even with her G1 place penalty and she is turning out to be better than I thought.

Can You Feel It 2nd in the Gold Cup, given too much to do imo, and I might turn to Away Away for the Cadran as she has the speed to win over 2m2 and just about stays 2m4.

Dark Upon Us finished 3rd in Group race over 1m2 for 3yo and he still really is my favourite horse. I can see him winning a G1 this season

Archimedes turned up at last in the Queen Anne but was given far too much to do, a few were, but feel he would've won if jockey wasn't motionless 2-3f out!

Had the usual lot of seconds and thirds in handicaps and overall a good week for me. Over the moon to win a G1 at last! 8)

Well done all winners and placers, 2nd's for me inc a 2nd in Royal Hunt Cup which was massive considering I didn't think he had a hope in hell! Padraig seems to be even more sly than me at placing well in horses!! Really thought Apple A Day should have won that before hand!

Pretty good for me this week with a winner and 5 top 5's out of 9 runners with All Mighty being detached at one point to finish strongly to take 2nd in a G2. Another couple had wide runs and still finished well so hopefully they haven't gone up much in the weights and I can find a decent opportunity to get them a win.

As always thanks to those involved for running the races and congrats to all the other winners & placers!
