Week 12 R15 EU 250,000 Criterium de Saint Cloud

Longchamp ~ Flat Turf ~ Heavy ~ 2yo ~ Gr 1 ~ All Sexs ~ 1m2f

Horse Trainer Age/Pref Rtg

903699067 Silver Sun Anadin 2yoc 1m2f Good 92

322351 Top Offer D Hooley 2yoc 1m Softish 99

Acting Happy No doubt a leading contender, has proved to be very consistent over 1 mile in hcps this season, add a win to her name in listed company over this distance and it puts her in the frame to be taking top honours.

Alfred The Great Looks like he will need to find the form going back to weeks 5,6,8 where he was sure to have been at the peak of his season finishing 3rd twice in group 2`s and winning a group 3 over the assorted distance of 1m1f and 1m2f. If he can find that form for one last race he may just be there at the finish. Heavy ground could be a worry but do not dismiss.

Asamour Has been running well all season in different company, most notable race winning group 2 at randwick over this distance, trainer thinks that Asamour has ran well enough all season and should have her chance. place claims.

Bao Dai Won twice this season over 1m 1f, once in a maiden and then again at goodwood in a group 2, trip is a slight doubt having not been run over 1m2f often, with the ground heavy just might not see the race out.

China Town Nights Trainer has worked wonders with his team this season, not easy to pass over but will have to improve if wanting to land this contest. Midfield finish.

Dynamic Pixie Trainer warrants respect, dynamic dixie has won one race on opening day of the season in a maiden and had been very unlucky finding one or two to good on starts recently in listed company, e.w shout.

Mental Milky Rated 78, finished midfield in hcps this season, lightly raced. Would have to show a great deal of improvement to take this. Outsider.

Northern Lights Has won 4 of his 9 starts this season, thought he would be up to hcp class but was pleasantly surprised when finding that he ran very well in listed company after progressing through the season. softish ground in his favour, Solid chance.

Redundant best finishes came with a bit of soft in the ground... 3rd twice. might just find a few others to classy on the day. midfield.

Silver Sun Not convincing on starts this season, has a lot to find, will find this far to tough. outsider

Top Offer Lightly raced, trainer might have aimed him for this one, got everthing going for him, Group 1 win last time out in the Racing Post Trophy, likes the soft ground, slight trip doubt not having gone over 1m2f this season but trainer seems confident. Favorite.

Week 12 R28 US $1,000,000 Breeders Cup Juvenile Turf

Santa Anita Park ~ Flat Turf ~ Good ~ 2yo ~ Gr 1 ~ Males ~ 1m ~ Open

11716 Carnoustie Doza 2yoc 7f Good 95

99624080 Estihdaaf steve roe 2yoc 1m Firm 85

654473445 Halling keithbeaky 2yoc 1m Firmish 90

8187478 Persepolis Kevcon 2yoc 1m Good 91

2334 Zoffany D Hooley 2yoc 1m Softish 92

Carnoustie Disappointed last time out in the Racing Post Trophy over 1 mile finishing 6/7, trainer indicates that his best trip would be 7f but after winning a 7f group 2 contest trainer must be sure that he will get the extra furlong. Carnoustiel has won both times it has run on its favoured going off good ground so excuses for the previous run over 1m in the Racing Post Trophy where the ground was soft. Trainers bang in form this season so has every chance of taking this. contender

Estihdaaf Will find things difficult out there in a small field which has some very good types, if finding the form that see him come 4th in a group 2 at ascot might have a squeak, seems to run better when the ground is on the firmer side of good, a 3rd place finish would be a great achievement considering the rivals. Place hopefull.

Halling based on the three runs Halling had in weeks 7,8 and 10 there is no doubt that he has group winning potential, a 3rd and 4th in group 2 company in big fields has him up there with a solid claim, a Racing Post Trophy 4th in front of carnoustie is the pick of the form showing even thou he likes it firm, the soft that day should mean he can handle the good ground here. Dont dismiss. place shout.

Never On Time Top rated horse in the race and for good reason, very consistent all season, won a group 3 over 1m and has been unlucky not to bag another win at higher levels when finishing 3 in the Racing Post Trophy, Disappointed last time out when dropped back a furlong to 7f but has proved that on his day he is more then capable of taking a race of this prestige. contender

Persepolis 7/7 in the racing post trophy, will be facing a number of these rivals again and struggled to be competitive has a lot to find on that days showing. outsider

Zoffany Trainer must have faith in the ability of Zoffany after electing him to run in this instead of what would have been the hot favourite Racing Post Trophy winner TOP OFFER, electing instead to up him in trip for the 1m2f Grand Criteruim, Zoffany comes here after a lightly raced season in which he finished 4/10 in the 7f dewhurst stakes one spot in front of Never on Time 5/10, it was noted in that race that Zoffany was short of room and was never able to make his challenge, with the extra furlong in play over 1m and smaller field there will be no doubt that Zoffany will get his chance to challenge and if he is good enough to take it. contender.

Edited Result....... Hooley.. Top Offer would have cleaned up in this race thought you might have gone for the win with him and just see how Zoffany did over the 1m2f in The grand Criterium De Saint Cloud. Did you think top offer had more chance of staying the 2f extra rather then Zoffany?

US $6,000,000 Dubai World Cup (Open Race)

Meydan ~ Flat Dirt ~ Standard ~ 4yo+ ~ Gr 1 ~ All Sexs ~ 1m2f

Horse Trainer Jock/Wght Age/Pref Rtg
60222 Advancing (-) Rich Coates 5yos 1m2f Good 92

018901648 Caufield Congi (-) PJ Rhodes 5yos 1m2f Good 91

701657863 Cerise Silk (-) Hackett 4yof 1m2f Very Soft 92

7065575 Humbled (-) keithbeaky 4yoc 1m2f Good 86

413143 Invite (-) Doza 4yoc 1m2f Good 94

0000 Tridrenaline (-) Moliets Surfer 4yoc 1m1f Firmish 75

509164796 Tyso (-) David Robertson 4yoc 1m2f Good 90

Advancing Has had a number of the rivals here behind over distance when running close 2nds in the Australian Cup G1 and the Prince of Wales Stakes G1, look for Advancing being held up and coming late to pick of his rivals in the last furlong, if he gets a good passage then im sure he will be there at the finish. Top two finish. probably the winner me thinks!

Caufield Congi his 2 wins this season have both come in handicap company, when stepped up in class he has found it a lot tougher with best race coming in the Juddmonte International finishing 4th with Cerise Silk behind that day, needs a career best effort to take this. 3rd or 4th place finish.

Cerise Silk Won a group 3 race this season on soft but has struggled with the good and firm goings the weeks after, Ran a disappointing 6th when behind Caufield Congi on the only preferred soft going day she got after her group 3 race, looked more lively last time out in the champions stakes at royal ascot finishing 3rd with caulfield congi that day in behind her. Will have to find some improvement to be able to challenge the boys in this race being the only female entered. 3rd or 4th place hopefull.

Humbled Have no doubt that winning chances are very slim in this race for Humbled but he was not disgraced when last time out finishing a very respectable 5/8 in the Australian Cup beating cerise silk that day who finished behind in 7th, form seems to be up and down when the 2 previous horses mentioned and this one run against each other so still in with a very good shout of finishing in 3rd or 4th spots, the deciding factor could come down to who ever takes to the dirt best. 3rd or 4th place hopefull.

Invite won over distance in a group 3 and has to be the main challenger to Rich Coates trained Advancing, Advancing has had the edge over Invite on both of his last two starts beating him by probably no more the a length each time, could be a close battle but Advancing just gets the nod again to beat his rival. 2nd place.

Tridrenaline running in handicaps for the four races he has had this season and this looks to be a very tough ask, dont be surprised to see maximum effort followed by tailing off from the field. anything other then last would be a fantastic result.

Tyso 4th in the australia cup and 6th in the champion stakes puts tyso in the middle of the pack and fighting it out with Humbled, Cerise Silk and Caulfield Congi. the winner of that four way battle still revolves around who will take to the dirt best. 3rd or 4th.

Week 12 R27 AU $250,000 Queen Elizabeth Stakes

Flemington ~ Flat Turf ~ Soft ~ 3yo+ ~ Gr 3 ~ All Sexs ~ 1m6f ~ Open

Horse Trainer Jock/Wght Age/Pref Rtg
65068218 At The Stake Kevcon No jockey info 4yof 1m6f Softish 95

042391221 Trick Hats keithbeaky No jockey info 3yof 1m6f Firmish 107

At The Stake goings to suit, Winner of the Ebor handicap on soft ground, a 2nd in listed company over 1m 6f at goodwood, 8/8 in the irish field St Leger group 1, with the drop down to Group 3 ideal chance of getting back in the winners circle. 2nd i think, lots in her favour but one might just be to good.

Hotel Cali winner of two handicaps this season which lead to a 5lb higher weight between At the stakes and himself when contending the ebor, hotel cali was 6th that day but with the ground not in favour he will struggle to assert at the finish not quite staying the trip as well. 4th place.

League Pass career best effort came in the ebor when finishing 4th but had the benefit of weight all round that day, not sure if 1m6f or 1m7f is the best trip think this will just be to much to ask. 5/5 predicted.

Special Angel Hard luck storys in a number of races this season finishing 2nd on a numerous of occasions, just always finds one to good, could be the same again today. 2/3 place finish.

Trick Hats Highest rated horse in the race and with good reason, outstanding season really pushed on when trainer realised that she was better then just an handicapper, claimed a group 3 success when stepped out of handicap company and has not looked back since, a close 2nd in the english st leger was soon forgotten when winning the group 1 Irish St leger, leading player will take some beating, firmish ground preferred but seems to handle any surface with no problem. 1st place finish.

Lovely stuff, Hackett. I think you're spot on with all of mine. Regarding Trick Hats I was VERY shocked when she didn't win her maiden and was then beaten in handicaps. She would have been a mortgage job for me off 86 I think in the early weeks. She and Come Free To Us are the best horses I've trained.
