10 days away and still no news about the league starting? Guess after the new year is looking more and more likely (if ever)

I have already given up on the league for the near future and will be playing other games until the new year after spending months playing so5 i am now bored with it.

id be happy with any date even march or april as long as it happens
not just 4me but for everyone who has put serious time into there teams would be a waste

we just need a fairygodfather like bill gates to come along and design us a new TOM
something future proof

i design websites but only on a fairly basic level the mechanics of designing an updateable tom well i would
not know where to start.

The worry is that i think it would take someone along time to design this and therefore would cost big money to do

Hope my concerns are off but i have a feeling the Lge will be firmly put on the back burner and could be a thing of the past

looks like it will probably be a while till the league starts if ever..no worries though i got to train my roosters for the big derby in our city and that takes about a month and a half to train them...maybe we have some good news about the league by then.

Surely the chap that makes the game must be concerned about this state of affairs, I suspect it will have an effect on sales of SO5/S06. Maybe this Mark fella needs to make a statement of some kind, we're still his customers even if he doesn't run the league. This was going to be my first season and it's a real let down, maybe Mark needs to build a league into the game itself, although I'm not sure how that would work, it would be nice to hear his thoughts on all this anyway, I can't imagine that he is simply ignoring all this, he must be working on some type of permanent solution surely?

I don't think anyone is interested in excuses or explanations but suffice to say I have had other priorities and ignorance is bliss - I had thought things were sorted.

I have emailed Rich and Colm and will endeavour to get something sorted over the next week at least in terms of getting TOM set up.

So that is the good news.

The broader picture is that the issues with the rollover to new season and effectively hard-coded into the current version of TOM and the best long term solution is yet another rebuild of TOM. However, lets leave this in the too hard basket and we can worry about this later.

I'm sorry if people are frustrated by what has happened but this is a volunteer, self-service community and it has never been part of Mark's core business (altho Mark has gone out of his way to support it). Hopefully, we can address the short term issues and then work towards getting better continuity for the future.
