Another TOM suggestion. Would it be possible to have access to the previous week(s) Racecards. I find it very useful when doing ratings to have the racecard open for each race as I handicap them. When I question what I see with a horse I click on its form for more investigating. As it is now the previous week's racecard becomes inaccessible as soon as the new week kicks in. As I mentioned in the previous post having the rating for each race in the horse's form would be a huge help in handicapping. |

Race 33 is a Handicap Hurdle your horse has no Hurdle form only chase form it can run in Race 34 do you want to try and enter it in that race its the same Distance. Gray |

A suggestion for making the handicappers job much easier and at the same time ensuring the ratings are as good as they can be... 1. In the 'Handicap Horses' page reached via the 'Admin' link make it so you can choose a horse and then see its form just like you can on the 'racecards' screen. 2. As mentioned before - In the horse's form card have the rating the horse ran with in each race listed just like in the game. I like to briefly look at each horse's form to decide the new rating. To do this now I have to open up other tabs and go back and forth between them. This is too time consuming. My two simple suggestions here would speed up the handicapping process big time and produce more accurate ratings. |
