CK Times

Racecourse - Ascot
Going - Good
Race Type - G1
Age - 3up
Sex - Open

5f - 57:9-57:5
6f - 1.10:5-1.10:1
7f - 1.23:0-1.22:6
8f - 1.39:2-1.38.8
10f - 2.07:9-2.07:5
12f - 2.32:6-2.32:2
14f - 3.05:2-3.04:8
16f - 3.37:8-3.37:0

I test primarily on Ascot. Other tests I run quite a lot are the classic distances (though sex is still open for those as I test fillies/colts together) so Newmarket at 1m, Epsom at 1m4f and Doncaster at both 1m6f and 1m6.5f.

Essentially the lower of the two times is what horses must run to enter the breeding pool. The faster of the two times in most cases approximates the fastest times I have seen. In 8 of 10 trials I would expect the winning time to fall between the two times listed though not always the same horse.

How do u decide who gets in u team with so many so close to each other.

As u are a ascot trainer is my 2 year old Court's time ok he's done 58.40.

I think u should change u name to O'Brien, I'm glad the most horses we can have is 20 because u could get twenty each race.

I don't know.. lots of trials and even then I'm not sure there is one best. It's horses for courses but you can only choose one.

I don't know what a good 2 year old time is. I haven't exported any two year olds for about 7 generations of breeding and the ones I have are really from halfway through my breeding process. Honestly couldn't tell you.

Good of you to post this Andy. It will give everyone something to aim at I think. Though obviously the pace of trials makes a different to times. Your 2m times are better than mine but Id fancy one or two of mine against all of yours.

I haven't really uploaded any 2m horses to the league. I am aiming to upload one in place of one of the three milers I have and could be up for some races against you and Ubar :).

The one beginning with S would win some decent 2m races. She won in week 1? If you've got better than her than I retract my statement!!!!!! Im still on course for the Gold Cup and Melbourne. Ubar wont enjoy Sandown next week.

Its not Ubar you need to worry about. And Mountain Rescue is a good thing for the Caldran. Loves Longchamp. Get on now!!!

Just wondered.. anyone going faster? :)

Haven't had time to play much over the last two weeks due to work but looking to play a little more over the next few weeks.

Not sure where I'll be concentrating on though if I had to guess 1m-1m2f is where I think I could go faster.

I don't really play the game in a traditional sense. I think the longest I've ever played any single game is 7 years.

I usually figure out which of my horses I want to breed. Start a new game transfer 6 horses in. Breed and then save the game at the end of the year and back up that game. I'll probably play through 2/3 batches of offspring per game stopping each time halfway through the 3 year old season.

I've got something like 180 breeding saves.

Occasionally I'll play a game to see how fast the horses can run in game.. or see how wide a distance spread a horse can win over but mostly breed, test in CK, decide breeding pairs and play game to breed those pairs.
