 New NH uploads
At the moment new NH horses can only enter Novice races and listed races. Is everyone happy with this or should we make group races open to all horses

 Re: New NH uploads
Open please. There are hardly any listed/novice races and actually your rules state that all group races are open to all horses with the exceptions noted and ratings of course if the race is oversubscribed.

 Re: New NH uploads
I think it would be wise to open it as there are only 2 maidens next week.

 Re: New NH uploads
Can i enter a first time out horse in a Grade 1 race?
Got a small crop which i've uploaded to TOM, but my horses are limited with the number of Graded races.

 Re: New NH uploads
I will change the rules on Friday night if enough people want this.
At the moment unraced horses can enter about 9 or 10 of the races. All the novice races and the listed races. But this would mean that they will then be novices. So I feel a rule change is best but will wait for more responses in this thread

 Re: New NH uploads
I'd like them open because I've got a juvenile 4yo and there's only graded race's to run in up until Cheltenham so no other horse's could run in 4yo races.

 Re: New NH uploads
In the long term I would ideally like only novices to come into the league at the half way mark, but from looking at the schedule it makes sense to allow new horses to enter any race from the moment they join. As Leon has said on another post it's only a game so better that more people can run their horses each week than sticking tightly to rules that may exempt trainers from racing.
Maybe this is something we could look at for next season.

 Re: New NH uploads
Perhaps we should have Maiden Hurdle/Chase races that are not Novice races then these could be used instead of putting new uploads straight into Group 1 Races.

 Re: New NH uploads
Have opened up the races. Can't check because of the server. Some novice divisions have very little runners so don't neglect these as you may have a bigger chance of success

 Re: New NH uploads
I uploaded a stallion called Deportivo. Its preferred distance is 2 mile 4 not 2 mile as stated. Also while I was uploading my 5th new horse the deadline passed and the horse I uploaded Blueberry hill is not shown up as uploaded so the deadline must of just passed. Is there any chance this horse can be added if I send on the file?
