In the early hours this morning police and leading equine officials staged a raid on the jalupen stud, trainer steve rann was arrested in what was believed to be a complicated operation bringing australian horses to the uk although details are still a bit sketchy the 45 year old trainer was bailed this afternoon when his lawyer read a short statement "i have done nothing wrong and fully intend to co-operate with police and officials" another leading trainer was quoted as saying"this is all we need the whole godolphin saga hurt us really bad and now this"

TMZ is reporting unidentified sources overhearing as of now unsubstantiated reports from third parties that when officials raided the Jalupen yard they found the stable area littered with empty Fosters lager bottles and Vegemite sandwich wrappers. A cache of Australian flag silks was also found in a secret compartment in the tack room. Perhaps most alarmingly a document was found detailing a plan to release Cane toads in every country on earth.
