 Previews
CAPE BLANCO 9/2 maiden winner in week 1 by half a length & Highest rated horse in the race looks a decent sort, genuine 1m2f horse half a furlong back in trip may not suit time will tell but bound to be a player on raw early form
CAT ONE 200/1 9th in the derby maiden and seemed to be outpaced drop in trip is not going to suit up against it here maybe a leger contender
CHILDS PLAY 11/2 11th in the 2000 Guineas Maiden badly outpaced needs further and will get the right trip in this race ignore his maiden run could be there or thereabouts certainly place material
DZALA 2/1 unraced debutant for last years champion rookie AKHC this 3yo could be anything must be respected Based alone on yard could be this years taran
GALAX ALICIRUR 80/1 10th in the fillies maiden over 1m1 was outpaced so the extra half furlong will suit but have to question whether the filly is good enough
GENTOO 50/1 ran a solid race on debut running a creditable 6th in same maiden as several of these fillies over 1m1f did not appear to stay the trip last week so question marks over further this week oppose
HESBAAN 10/1 3rd in the maiden cape blanco won stayed on well not certain to be suited by a drop in trip will be flying late on should be in the mix on maiden form
HILLY WOOD 11/4 unraced debutant for the champion Keith Beaky yard this 3yo could be anything must be respected
HONOUR OF THE SWORD 12/1 Filly that ran well in week 1 3rd in the 1m1f fillies maiden. The extra half a furlong is a bg plus she ran on strongly last time out could be a big player here
INHISGLORY 18/1 dirt specialist who was 6th in cape blanco maiden will improve for a drop in trip maybe better suited by the USA Classics Held on maiden form but could be the dark horse
KUIPER 250/1 15th on debut weekend out of the contest over shorter trip so step up in trip is against the horse has a nice rating to go handicapping with but oppose here
PAGODA ICE 66/1 Unraced Debutant Mystery horse of the race recently purchased by trainer Darren Thompson. Possibly the weaker of the 3 debutants based on trainer form from last season
SHOOT THE POT 9/4 faces Cape Blanco again for the 2nd week in a row could be suited better by the shorter trip every chance he could turn the form around bound to be fancied by many
WALKING INTO THE SUN 100/1 6th in the spring cup and entered into the guineas i don't think he will stay this trip have to oppose
Verdict Well what a fascinating & exciting race we have here in prospect Out of the raced horses i would have to favour the 1m2 colts maiden over the 1m1 fillies Maiden its just a gut feeling but hard to know AKHC & Keith Beaky could have potential superstars in here you have to respect the chances of both
1)DZALA 2)SHOOT THE POT 3)HILLY WOOD 4)CAPE BLANCO 5)CHILDS PLAYWill make addition if there are any more entries

BIG UP TO LEON I wanna second this compliment. I like how I can click a horse entered in a race and see it's previous trip notes, hit the escape button and go to the next horse. Quickly being able to assess the pace makeup of the race and deciding whether it will suit my horse. Good work Leon.

 Re: Previews
Dubai Duty Free Nearly $2 miilion in prize money wasn't enough incentive to attract more high quality runners. Instead this seasons running of the Dubai Duty Free appears to be a one horse race with a cast of others hoping to land a lucrative placing.______________________________________________________________________Fan The Flames - The clear and deserving favorite for this off her impressive debut in week ones Ransom Note maiden. The trainer has stated everyone should empty their bank accounts, sell their stocks, pilfer the kids college funds and get that money down on this sure thing. Looks like a cinch. Tonic - Running for this trainer, she opted out of the World Cup to hopefully get the second place share of the purse money. Seeing a lack of pace and questionable competition this ultra game mare can gain a placing with a good trip. Rife - Exits the Winter Derby at Lingfield after finishing a solid fifth. Switch to turf, longer distance and a top trainer make this one a contender. Giulietta - Winner of the Spring Cup last year at 3 and also with solid placings in the Coronation and Lennox Stakes. In and out type who appears best at a mile. Will she feel like running today and what's she like at 4 are the questions. Much More - Coming off a decent fourth in the Speedito Maiden. Trainer believes this mare is probably best suited for the mile handicaps. King Louie - Also coming out of the Winter Derby will need to improve dramatically to earn a share. Promise Of Victory - Like the others hoping to land a minor share of the purse. Would prefer it softer.
